Fans really made the difference this election, hope this starts a movement everywhere. You can be as passionate about democracy as you're passionate about an artist.

international media, which made so many talk about this. fans on their own organized several of these HUGE protests. when you, as a fan acc, think that your online behavior doesn't matter and only use your platform to spread disinformation and engage in fan wars, remember this.

reminder that lula thanked brazilians fandons. FANS have a lot of responsibility for this win. while the brazilian & international media remained silent about what was happening, FANS used their platforms to bring the news to the artists and thus to the +
Not now babe I'm trying to save Brazil from becoming Trump's backyard no time to save Quinn Fabray from Ryan Murphy's hand
Don't know what's happening in Brazil? Check this, there's a right wing politician who's main job is to spread lies, his latest video on Instagram has more views then Kyle Jenner's at the VS show. Meta is pushing all right wing posts and shadowbaning all posts against them

for over a decade the world has laughed at how brazilians always saying "come to brazil" to artists online. what they dont get is that we are EXTREMELY passionate. today, brazilian fandoms have organized the biggest pro lula event at avenida paulista. this is our strenght!
You have no clue what's been going on amidst all the chaos of this rigged election, Lula got Swifties, Livies, Beyhives, Carpenters, and so many others fandoms doing meetings and marching together. Not a single fanwar happened in Brazil this month. #FanAccountsForDemocracy
Let it be on the record that today, within Brazilian territory—neither in civil society, much less of a military or paramilitary nature—there is any kind of animosity that justifies the false sense of insecurity claimed by the US Embassy.
Consular Services in the U.S. Embassy and Consulates in Brazil will be suspended starting today, October 2 due to security concerns. U.S. citizens seeking emergency assistance during this time should not come to the Embassy, the Consulates, or other U.S. diplomatic facilities. If you need emergency assistance, please contact the appropriate Duty Officer: bit.ly/consular-services-sus…
You have no fucking clue about how Trump and Rubio are affecting South America and that's the worst part, we're being taken down one by one to give away all the things the US needs, petrol, gold, rare lands, and it doesn't even make to the news

Brazil's Intelligence Agency ABIN issued a report today referring to US Embassy closing in Brazil as a Trump administration Psyop. A source told Forum magazine that US State Department officials are informally referring to it as "Operation Brother Sam II".+
You voted for them and now the rest of the world have to live in fear they'll become the next US colony in South America

Until October 1, Senator Bernie Sanders and 30 other Democratic lawmakers were awaiting an official response to a letter sent to President Donald Trump’s administration, requesting that the U.S. not intervene in Brazil’s presidential election.
Sent to Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Sept. 24, the letter expressed concern about the pressure campaign Trump is waging against Brazil through diplomatic, economic, and political measures.
Those measures include tariffs on Brazilian products and sanctions against Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes, adopted by Washington while the judge was participating in judicial proceedings against former President Jair Bolsonaro (2019-2022).
The Democratic lawmakers also asked the State Department to explain the legal grounds and evidence used to sanction the Brazilian judge.
The letter also questioned the U.S. decision to designate Brazilian gangs Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC) and Comando Vermelho as foreign terrorist organizations, as well as the revocation of the visa of Brazil’s ambassador to Washington.

Rubio and Trump have been very aggressive in their interventions to try and elect a right-wing Trumpian as president of Brazil (election Sunday October 4). So much that the election looks more like a US regime change operation, of which there have been many in recent decades. I wrote about it here: cepr.net/publications/los-an…

“The showdown between Lula da Silva and Flávio Bolsonaro has turned into something bigger: a test of Trump's influence in Latin America's largest country, with stakes for the region and the global climate.
Trump said he's following Brazil's election "very closely" and called it "very important," though he didn't endorse a candidate.” axios.com/2026/10/02/brazil-…
