the new version of @buzzdotxyz is built on top of an excellent plugin architecture, my mind is 🤯 so many ideas...

block.github.io/governed-art… @writesdavid and I elaborate more in ^ post about our recent work at @blocks and why we think this idea is important.

The spec is early, but we think it's ready to share. We're seeking community input to strengthen it. Please connect with us if interested!

so cool to see Jev used to pick the right LLM for the prompt… I can imagine how this compositional approach has the potential to make client-side agentic UX a lot better (and more economical too)
Experimentation with Jev from @typesafeai and our harness @goose_oss Use Jev to take a prompt and JIT select a model just before the turn runs. Jev and models like it will be useful in many areas and this is just early prototype code on a first idea

Hell yeah!
I added a a stick shift to my computer. It's like Raycast but for truckers. Window management, LLM Model selection, Shift up/down for reasoning levels. It feels right

Today we're open sourcing Berd, a beautiful desktop app for working with AI agents. And one that isn't afraid to have a personality. We had capable models and harnesses everywhere, but no environment around them that we actually loved opening every day. So a small team built one for ourselves, and it's scaled to something a huge portion of Block now uses. Especially the non-engineers who want to build things. The part I'm proudest of is how it was built. Design and engineering as one team. Designers in the code and engineers in the design decisions. Everyone owning what they're working on; everyone moving together like it was choreographed...and really fast. In a world where anyone can build anything now, what makes something worth opening every day is the care inside it. Berd is for people who want to step outside the norm a little. Who want their solo workspace to feel fun, and who want AI to feel less scary and confusing. Model-agnostic, harness-agnostic, and built for you to shape your own AI world. From us, to you.
Replying to @blocks
From Square to Cash App, we have a history of bringing thoughtful design to technical categories. With Berd, we brought that same instinct to AI agents. Meet the Gloopies, designed to make agents more recognizable and approachable.

MCP, ftw!
Square sellers can now accept agentic orders from Google’s Ask Maps. And we’re just getting started. More to come. squareup.com/us/en/press/ask…
