5 seven-figure modern sports card sales across 2 platforms on a single night. Fanatics Collect on the left has a trio platter of Debut Patches RPA 1/1 of top 3 rookies. Flagg, Harper, Knueppel. Numbers are insane. Alt on the right has Kobe/LeBron dual logo auto and Mahomes Flawless logo RPA 1/1. Sick numbers too. RDPA ⚔️ LA Hobby is alive. September number will blow out August number out of water and reach billion+ level, while the August is already 1.3x of July and closing in $1B month ($912.6M). P.S. Also a $3.7M Pokemon and almost $1M Ruth auto. #whodoyoucollect #sportscard #alternativeasset

Take money~~~
All this fighting between NFT projects is exhausting. I've done basically all of them. DraftKings. Top Shot. Disney pins. Hello Kitty. Digital comics. OpenSea. You name it, I've probably collected it. I wanted every one of them to work. I still own them. I'm still rooting for them. But if I'm being honest, the only one that has actually made me money is Panini. At this point probably 10-25x depending on the day. Without Panini I'd be down 99% across everything digital, easy. I think some of the dislike toward Panini comes from exactly that. It did well while others didn't, so far. And sure, maybe it's not the "purest" project by whatever standard people want to apply. But the thesis was always simple: it's the closest thing to collectibles that already exist. Real sets, real serial numbers, real scarcity, same logic as the sports card people have collected for 100 years. That's what it is and that's why it worked. And honestly collectibles can have wildly different timescale horizons. Not saying one project is better than another. Not saying PBC will keep winning and others won't, indefinitely. I hope they all run. But for me, right now, Panini is the breadwinner and the rest are hopes. That's not a take, it's just my bookkeeping. Collect what you like and let people do the same. #digitalcollectibles #thehobby #paniniblockchain

OG historian take on sports digital collectibles
This post is going to annoy some people, but it’s not meant to be harsh. It’s simply an honest assessment of why there’s been so much turmoil and discourse among digital collectors across different platforms. If you look at the history of Topps MLB, NBA Top Shot, Panini Digital, and Candy Digital, they all experienced significant success out of the gate, particularly around the summer of 2021. Top Shot was the clear early leader by a huge margin and was a major catalyst for the broader NFT bull run. MLB Topps was another major early collection, followed by Panini and Candy releasing digital sets, moments, and other products shortly thereafter. A lot of people collected on some or even all of these platforms. Over time, though, most collectors naturally gravitated toward one or two. For roughly a year to a year and a half, Top Shot collectors had every reason to feel like their platform was the superior ecosystem. Panini, Topps, and Candy were all playing catch-up. Topps slowly declined and never experienced another major run comparable to its initial launch. And that’s despite having many of the characteristics you’d expect from a strong digital collectible platform: licensed products, self-custody, ownership, and a major physical collecting brand behind it. Candy and Panini also had strong starts, but over the following year and a half, their collector bases contracted and sales activity became much quieter. Still, both platforms maintained core groups of collectors who continued to support them. I remember going into the Top Shot Discord and seeing plenty of collectors poke fun at Panini and Candy. Then Top Shot eventually experienced many of the same challenges the other platforms faced: a shrinking user base, leadership decisions that didn’t always resonate with collectors, over-minting, and declining demand. By around 2024, all four platforms had taken a significant step back from where they were during the 2021–22 peak. Then Panini started to change direction. Better release decisions. Lower mint supplies. More selective products. Improvements to the platform. And, most importantly, a collector base that continued to stick around. Over the last few years, Panini has gradually built momentum. Sales activity improved. Month-over-month numbers became more encouraging. Bigger collectors from the physical hobby started paying attention. More recognizable names entered the ecosystem. For many Panini OGs, that’s a pretty significant change from what they’d been hearing for years. And I think that’s where a lot of the current discourse comes from. Panini was never the best platform out of the gate. Panini collectors watched Top Shot explode. They watched Topps and Candy receive attention. They watched other communities celebrate their success. And for years, Panini collectors were told that their platform was inferior. A lot of them simply stayed quiet, continued collecting, believed in the product, and waited. Now, several years later, Panini appears to have established itself as one of the strongest — and by some measures, the strongest — remaining sports digital collectible ecosystems. So why would Panini collectors suddenly want to fight with Top Shot or Candy collectors? Most don’t. There’s no reason for Panini to need Top Shot to fail. There’s no reason to root against Candy. There’s no reason to attack Topps. And there’s certainly no reason to attack the collectors who still believe in those ecosystems. But there’s also nothing wrong with defending Panini when people continue to attack it. For five-plus years, Panini collectors heard how terrible the platform was. Now that the underlying data and activity have changed, it’s understandable that some of those collectors are going to point that out. And honestly, I don’t blame anyone for continuing to believe in something they’ve spent years collecting. If you’ve invested significant time and money into a platform, you’re obviously going to hope it has another chapter. But let’s not get anything twisted. If you’re going to criticize Panini, criticize the product. Criticize the platform. Debate the strategy. That’s completely fair. But when the argument becomes an attempt to rewrite the history or dismiss the progress that’s happened over the last few years, Panini collectors are going to push back. Not because they hate other platforms. Not because they need other platforms to fail. Simply because after years of being told Panini was the inferior option, the current data tells a much more compelling story. Opinions are opinions. Narratives are narratives. But ultimately, the best way to evaluate these platforms is to check the tape. Let the data speak for itself.

The onboarding path is always the same. Golding is listing the prime pre-Prizm digital collectibles first. Same playbook PBC ran day one: physical twin warms up the physical boomers, then the chain does the real price discovery. Prizm auctions on their rails are next. Not if. When. You’re either positioned or you’re the bid they need later. NFA. #GoGreenOrGoHome
For the first time, we are offering a @PaniniAmerica Blockchain NFT card for sale! And it’s a Justin Herbert 1/1! 👀 Current Bid: $5,000

The first time I flipped a condo, I thought I had cracked the code. +$300k on a six-figure flip. Ego instantly went to max leverage. Naturally, I aped into silver thinking a 2–3x was inevitable. One week later: -$40k. That tuition fee taught me something priceless: I'm not built to trade everything. My edge comes from going absurdly deep into one niche: @PaniniAmerica Blockchain Fast forward 10 years... Instead of chasing every narrative, I went all-in studying Panini Blockchain grails. Black. Green. Gold Vinyl. Gold. That's it. Conviction > diversification when you actually know your market. Some of my favorite wins so far: 🟢 Curry Green Ice: $5k → $110k (22x) 🟢 Giannis Green Kaboom: $2k → $35k (17x) 🟢 LeBron Green Kaboom: $150k → $1M+ (7x) 🟢 Luka Green Kaboom: $49k → $150k (3x) The biggest alpha isn't finding the next shiny thing. It's finding your lane... and staying there long enough for the market to catch up.

should never have sold that Green Curry...
I don't focus on ROI much in my content, but it has been a nice benefit of collecting on Panini Blockchain. @dalaei made 5X on the Curry 2/2 Green Prizm Debut that he sold today to @spinotron in less than two years. When @dalaei originally bought it from @ahueh, Ahueh made roughly the same 5X return after holding for less than three years. What's funny is that when I saw the purchase price today, I thought to myself, "That's an easy 5X for Spino in a few years." In a way, this Curry Green Debut is a microcosm of the entire PBC market.

The $17B hobby juggernaut is back at the digital table. Fanatics once killed Topps Avalanche, Topps NFT, and Candy. Now they’re opening the door through phygital + reminting old Topps NFTs. Sports NFT bull signal? Or just Fanatics collecting more of the stack? Curious how the Panini Blockchain community reads this.
AVAILABLE NOW: Topps Instant Packs Beginning with 2025-26 Topps Chrome Black Basketball, portions of select Topps releases will be available to rip DIGITALLY on the Fanatics Collect app. Even though these packs are ripped digitally, every card physically exists. All cards have been scanned, so the cards you pull are the exact physical cards you own. Each card gets instantly added to your Fanatics Collect Vault, where you can keep it, sell it, or have it shipped to you. Plus, Instant Packs come with their own set of exclusive parallels! 1. Smart money knows where capital rotate. OG100>Gold Kaboom>Gold 2. Vintage Golds are extremely limited. Only 20 pieces available per player from S1 and S2 and some only has 10 Alpha is every where on PBC platform. Research deep into the checklist, develop your own thesis, and ride the momentum

PBC, it's love at first sight
If you are in a web3/NFT project that is hopelessly trending to 0, I know you are married to the bag and loyal to first love, but please allocate 10% to #PaniniBlockchain/PBC. Read in full. NFA, I have 100x thesis (see below), even if just 11x, it will cover your cost in worst case. - 20x rarer PBC catalog vs physical hobby which is going through the roof (17 Flagg PBC vs 3039 physical, 82 Yamal PBC vs 3997 licensed physical). - All great cards in 2020-2026 era captured, with goats, legends and proven rookies. - no more dilution in NBA and NFL, forever capped just like cryptopunks, 90s parallels, Exquisite, licensed MJ autos, and we have seen trajectory of these once no more can be found in new releases. - 2000x addressable market in physical hobby and 1000x addressable market in daily active digital wallet on ethereum. - prestigious, pedigreed and proven (physical counterpart sells for 3-20x+ vs PBC which shows ceiling but also shows opportunity, no reason better configured and fundamental assets sell less, let alone significantly less. Generational opportunity. - tokenization of stocks/securities and properties are coming. On-chain finance will boom and overflow into on-chain collectibles and PBC is the first licensed sports collectible on chain and sports is the biggest addressable market. Passion+nostalgia+fandom = price action. #whodoyoucollect #sportscard #PBC #digitalasset #digitalart #alternativeinvestment

Replying to @theantoinesolis
That’s certainly not the question. The question is how a company with @MLB + @MLBPA manages to fail so miserably and spectacularly with one of the greatest licenses in collectibles. And how do MLB and MLBPA sit around for 5 years watching the collectible disasterclass that is @CandyDigital? signed: Investor

Alt-Prizms going to ride the wave next
Three second year/S2 releases of #PaniniBlockchain cards take 3 consecutive spots under someone’s punk sweep (purple and eye mask). When S1 is diamond handed, S2 moves. @MysteryBreaks1 bought Curry as champ winning year. Spino bought Brunson’s first ever Prizm base 1/1 for a friend. 👀 @RaspySlabs bought Wemby grail on a slight sale. Two PBC daily still above Stonkbrokers’ floor (12.9E=$24.6k) LOL. We don’t trade daily stocks but long for legendary athletes’ eventual stock. We don’t do flywheel, except the wheel of true collecting cards for 160 years and counting. #whodoyoucollect #sportscard #PBC #NFT #digitalart #digitalasset

My first big physical deal!!! I helped a good friend to negotiate and secure a 2024-25 Prizm Black SGA 1 of 1. From pricing to delivery term that makes sense for both parties. I feel really good that I could make both parties achieve win win situation. Hobby is alive and well!!!
