Today’s @IBEW103 & @necaboston #HeroAmongUs founded a community-based initiative to reduce the stigma around HIV/AIDS. Dr. Aima Ahonkhai trains barbers as health and mental-wellness ambassadors, and continues to champion community environments as hubs for healing.
Barbers are trusted messengers.
And trust is the foundation of effective public health.
