In Catholic teaching, the devil’s special hatred for the Blessed Virgin Mary (the Mother of God) is rooted in Scripture, the Church’s tradition, and her unique role in salvation history. Genesis 3:15--The Protoevangelium After the Fall, God declares to the serpent: “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; she shall crush your head, and you shall lie in wait for her heel.” (traditional Vulgate rendering used for centuries in the Church) Catholic tradition has long identified the “woman” as Mary, the New Eve. Her offspring is Christ, who definitively crushes the serpent’s head. The Church’s liturgy, art, and the Rite of Exorcism explicitly apply this verse to Mary, stating that “by her humility and from the first moment of her Immaculate Conception [she] crushed your proud head.” 🔹 Her Fiat and cooperation in the Incarnation: Mary’s free consent at the Annunciation (“Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it done unto me according to thy word”-Luke 1:38) reversed Eve’s disobedience. By saying yes, she became the instrument through which the Redeemer entered the world. The devil’s plan was thwarted by the obedience of a humble Jewish girl. 🔹 Humility, purity, and the Immaculate Conception: Satan’s defining trait is pride. Mary’s defining virtue is radical humility and perfect obedience. Catholic exorcists (such as Fr. Gabriele Amorth) have repeatedly reported demons expressing particular rage at her because she is the humblest and purest of creatures while he is the proudest and most rebellious. 🔹 The dogma of the Immaculate Conception (defined in 1854): teaches that Mary was preserved from original sin from the first moment of her existence so she could be a fitting Mother of God. She was never under the devil’s dominion: an ongoing humiliation to him. 🔹 In the Church’s Rite of Exorcism and in the testimonies of many Catholic exorcists, invocation of Mary’s name, the Hail Mary, and the Rosary frequently provoke strong reactions from demons. They are described as especially humiliated by being opposed or defeated by “a simple creature” rather than by God alone. Popes and saints (including St. Louis de Montfort and St. Maximilian Kolbe) have taught that devotion to Mary is one of the surest protections against the devil. In short, Catholic theology presents Mary as the woman prophesied in Genesis, the New Eve whose yes made the Incarnation possible, the Immaculate Mother whose humility and purity stand in total opposition to Satan, and the one through whom Christ, and the Church, continue to crush the serpent’s head.

Bless that Rugged Cross #MercifulPouringGrace My sweet Jesus, I trust in You despite the disappointments (2 Peter 1:3) We know we are not up against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12) So we love no matter what because You loved us first (1 John 4:19) And it can hurt that there are people who are chained (Isaiah 58:6) The evil one wants us to think bad of them to divide, or feel hurt (2 Corinthians 2:11) But thinking of His words brings back the peace (Psalm 119:165, John 16:33) Woe to evil; we feel sorry for the hurting soul for which we pray (Psalm) Of all those who have wronged us, I remember the times I was wrong (1 Corinthians 13:5) Grateful I don’t go there anymore trying to live life like a dog (Ecclesiastes 9:4) It’s not a coincidence that dog spelled backwards is god (Revelation 22:15) Maybe they were created to set an example as little kids are (1 Corinthians 10:11, Matthew 18:3) In their eyes we can do no wrong; they still see beauty beyond the smoke (1 Samuel 16:7) Maybe that is why they live carefree; they don’t mind most things (1 Peter 5:7) And so I will keep waiting on God to work His miracles (Psalm 27:14) That all the people that crossed our path are healed and saved (Luke 17:19) Despite going astray the ones who betray; there is still hope (Isaiah 53:6) Maybe not all, but only God knows who is willing (Romans 9:16 The blind person who doesn’t know easily manipulated (Ephesians 4:14) So we pray for everyone that we don’t miss a thing (1 Timothy 2:1) Answering always to our Mighty King, who perfectly looks after us (Psalm 95:3) Focus on His love and the ultimate sacrifice on that rugged cross (Romans 5:8) Much love always, and God bless you abundantly Aimee Cabo 11/04/26 #thankYouJesus #thankYouforyourprayers 💕#faithoverfear #Godofjustice #Godofmercy, number 837

Kept in His Love #MercifulPouringGrace We were told that if our prayers don’t get answered it’s because we are not in a state of grace( James 4:3) But Jesus came for the sick and the lost; doesn't He answer their prayers?( Mark 2:17) How often does God answer our prayers even when we don’t deserve it( Ephesians 2:8–9) We don’t know the depths of His goodness, love, and mercy and cannot question His generosity ( Romans 11:33) How are we to learn His kindness, if not by answered prayers when we were wrong( Romans 2:4) God speaks about it being easy to be good to those who have been good to us( Luke 6:33) So then why would He only answer prayers when we are good? ( Daniel 9:18) God allows situations that get us to open our eyes and bring us to Him by our cries ( Psalm 34:17) His gentleness will show us a better way by His comforting caress( Psalm 18:35) That is what blessings are those gifts we didn’t see coming; trust Him; no need to stress( Philippians 4:6-7) True that to be in His favor we must obey as it is written that we are rewarded by our works( Luke 11:28) Keeping in mind He is close to the hurting and most tender with the blind and lost( Psalm 34:18) For which we should pray, and forgive for God’s glory no matter the cost( Colossians 3:13) God has us, the sinners contrite, kept in His love and embraced by His light ( 1 John 1:7) Much love always, and God bless you abundantly Aimee Cabo 11/02/26 #thankYouJesus #thankYouforyourprayers 💕#faithoverfear #Godofjustice #Godofmercy, number 836

Forever in Your Arms #MercifulPouringGrace My God, than to see my people suffer let it be me I'd rather sacrifice even if it hurts to help others I remember how you said to follow me, leave everything And the rich man could do no such thing And some would think why would I be blessed just to let go Given the best only not to have it before fully enjoyed But because it’s not this world we focus on but You Puts it into perspective as You see us through Even when we don’t understand the plan, doing all we can And sometimes more than we have trusting He provides It’s okay Jesus; I love You and I will follow through I know You are loving, beautiful, graciously kind, and forever true You will comfort us and guide us, show us what to do Oh my Lord, keep us steadfast in faith; we need You every day In wait for You to complete what You started while we always pray To follow You, there may not be much glory in this world But doesn’t compare to what awaits in glorifying You You know what it takes to only live for You, so here I am My Lord and my all, You have never let me fall Though I may have walked the fire still You answered my call So forever in Your arms no matter what standing tall Much love always, and God bless you abundantly Aimee Cabo 11/01/26 #thankYouJesus #thankYouforyourprayers 💕#faithoverfear #Godofjustice #Godofmercy, number 835
