i just found out about this story and i think it’s such a meaningful example of jay parks character
back in 2016, a hanyang university student shared how they had heard from a professor that jay had been donating his university festival performance fees to student scholarships for years, the student posted about it, which eventually caught the attention of korean media, and aomg confirmed that he had been doing this for multiple years. what makes this even more meaningful to me is that this wasn’t something jay had publicly announced himself. from a professor sharing it with students to the student bringing it to public attention. I love how he does good deeds without making recognition the purpose of it, i wish more people knew about this side of him🥲
