The @Toyota Hilux is the AK-47 of modern warfare.
That is not a metaphor. It is 40 years of battlefield fact, and it makes bulk Toyota shipping data one of the MOST reliable early warning signals available to an OSINT analyst, military strategists and observers.
The vehicle is EVERYWHERE a war is.
In 1987, a conflict between Chad and Libya was literally named the Toyota War, after Chadian forces used Land Cruisers to destroy Libyan armor across the desert.
The Soviet special forces in Afghanistan preferred captured Toyotas to their own trucks. Two thirds of the vehicles in ISIS's Raqqa parades were Toyotas.
US special operations command fields the Land Cruiser and Hilux as its official non-standard tactical vehicle. Every side, every conflict, every proxy force runs on them.
Which is exactly WHY the supply chain and shipping data matters, and this is not theory.
In 2020, a watchdog, @Global_Witness, obtained an actual spreadsheet the Sudanese RSF militia used to track its own vehicle buys. It showed the RSF had purchased over a thousand Toyota Hiluxes and Land Cruisers, more than 900 in a single six month stretch, from dealers in the Gulf, to convert into technicals.
@Global_Witness confirmed it by cross checking ship manifests, satellite imagery and social media photos.
That militia is now at the center of the Sudan war, a conflict people now call Toyota War 2.0. The vehicles were trackable in the data before the worst of the killing began.
The Iraq case is the clearest of all.
@Toyota's own sales figures show Hilux and Land Cruiser sales tripled in Iraq in 2013.
The following year, ISIS convoys became the defining image of the region's collapse.
The @USTreasury's terror financing unit was alarmed enough to formally ask Toyota to explain the supply chain. The vehicles preceded the war by MORE than a year. The shipping data was sitting there. Almost no one was reading it.
Here is how the signal works.
The baseline is normal commercial demand, governments, NGOs, oil firms, telecoms.
The anomaly is bulk orders of specific configurations, no back seats, reinforced beds, particular colors, routing through grey market hubs in the Middle East, Jordan and Turkey toward destinations with no commercial reason to absorb THAT volume.
Those grey zone re-export hubs are where the signal lives, because that is where the proxy networks buy, outside Toyota's direct sales controls.
The patterns worth following now ALL run the same way.
Bulk Toyota movements into Libyan free ports are the leading indicator of the next Sahel proxy escalation that I am seeing now, as Russia's Africa Corps equips forces across the region.
The same white Hilux double cab flow through Turkish and Jordanian transit that preceded every ISIS resurgence is the clearest warning of non state reconstitution in northern Iraq and Syria.
Satellites show you where a war already is. Missile data shows you how it is being fought.
Toyota manifests show you where the next one starts, often more than a year before the first convoy appears on your timeline.
The data is public. Almost no one is reading the right part of it. That is the gap between analysis and intelligence.
If this gave you signal worth keeping, please bookmark, retweet and like. Consider following if you find my work worthy.

American Embassy staff has just been ordered to leave their post across the Middle East.
This is related to my below assessment from August assessment where I said the United States has returned these Embassy staff NOT because the region was safe BUT....
because of financial implications and regulatory requirements for these staff to not be away from their post for longer than six months, this clock resets again today for another 6 months of war.

The Israeli elections is 6 days away.
The American elections is 13 days awayโฆ
Everyone is being told the United States is holding back on Iran because of the electionโฆ
That is the COVER story and has nothing to do with the reason for the PAUSE in WAR.
What looks like a pause in the war is a staging window that I have identifiedโฆ
While the guns are quiet, the โCoalition of the Backdoorโ is moving into position.
1. The UK has put RAF Typhoons over Saudi Arabia.
2. France is moving troops and air defences into Yanbu.
3. Pakistan has troops and a squadron on Saudi soil under the Makkah pact.
4. Egypt just deployed troops as well but it is still holding a symbolic vote on 26 October.
All of it sold as โdefending Saudi Arabiaโ, none of it named as a โwar on Iranโ; which is actually the scenario playing out.
Deploying military assets, personal and equipment into a theatre of operation takes time.
You cannot move two European air forces, a Pakistani squadron, and Egyptian units, into the Gulf, the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea overnight, wire them into one air defence picture, and pre-position the fuel, the radars and the logistics, in a single week.
This lull and PAUSE is the time it takes to build the ring and that coalition before you close the airspace againโฆ and before things escalate furtherโฆ
So the clock everyone is reading is the wrong one. In my assessment, the midterms are the โpolitical coverโ for the timing. The real driver is the โorder of battleโ, and it is NOT finished assembling yet.
The tell is in what happens next. The pause ends the moment the last partner is in position, and that it lines up with the post-midterm window is no coincidence.
The quiet now is buying the escalation for later.
The guns go silent so the coalition can walk through the back door. Once it is set, the door closes, and the war does not pause again.

This is becoming even more relevant every day!!
Supply chain and food insecurity issues increase and compound daily as traffic in the Hormuz is still disrupted.

Oil shocks hit the pump within days. Fertilizer shocks arrive quietly, one planting season late, when nothing can be done about the harvest. Retweet and bookmark this if you find it insightful.
๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น๐ฒ
Roughly a third of global seaborne fertiliser trade runs through this strait, including up to a third of world urea exports. Since February 28, an estimated 3.9 million tonnes have been suspended, about 30% of the Gulf's annual output.
Urea went from around $400 a tonne to over $850 in April, the highest since 2022, easing to $453 in June. DAP climbed from $580 to $770.
๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฑ๐ผ๐๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐ธ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ถ๐ป๐
Most coverage misses this. It is not only a shipping problem. Natural gas IS the raw material for nitrogen fertiliser, roughly 80% of production cost.
So Hormuz hits twice. It blocks the product leaving the Gulf AND strangles the gas other countries need to make their own.
Iran halted ammonia production. Qatar suspended urea, ammonia and sulfur after damage to its plants. India lost 800,000 tonnes of its 2.6 million tonne monthly urea output when its gas was cut.
You cannot ship your way around a feedstock shortage.
๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ต๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ. ๐๐๐น๐ณ๐๐ฟ
Sulfur prices have DOUBLED since January. It is a byproduct of Gulf gas and refining and essential to phosphate fertiliser, so the disruption reaches phosphate output worldwide. Morocco's OCP pulled forward plant maintenance.
Note the precision. Potash comes mostly from Canada, Russia and Belarus and is largely unaffected. Nitrogen and sulfur break.
๐ช๐ต๐ผ ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ธ๐
India is 44% dependent on Qatar for the gas behind its own production and takes 30% of its DAP from the Gulf. It moved fast, front-loading imports and rerouting via the Cape, so its Kharif crop is covered. The winter Rabi season is the exposure.
Sub-Saharan Africa, East Africa above all, draws about a third of its fertiliser from the Gulf, with landlocked transport costs up 30 to 80%. These farmers already apply the least fertiliser on earth. They do not pay the higher price. They stop buying.
๐๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ต๐ผ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐
If a third of the market vanishes, ask who sells into the gap.
Russia is the world's largest fertiliser exporter and does not touch Hormuz. Every Gulf tonne removed hands Moscow market share, pricing power and quiet leverage over the same import-dependent states now queuing at its door.
And China, which restricted its own exports to protect domestic supply, made the shortage worse by pulling more volume off the market. Defensive policy by exporters amplifies the shock for everyone else.

You ALL are missing the point with my tweet below because of your own internal biases and politics you subscribe to...
But know this: whether you are looking at Russian, Ukrainian or European or western data sets about the numbers of MEN being killing in the Russia-Ukraine War, it does NOT matter to me because my point is NOT about the "data or numbers" of dead men...
If you are my follower and subscribers then for sure you would know I am anti-war, therefore, I do NOT "care" if it's 16 to 1, or it is 50 TO 1 BEING KILLED...
My point here is that there would STILL BE 51 people that are dying and the main point here is that young men, most productive aged men are dying in Europe because the Slavic Orthodox Christian men are being set loose against one another despite whatever political side you are on...
These NUMBERS are not "just" numbers, they are PEOPLE, and you must look at this from a humanistic and humanitarian problem...
Also understand that whatever side of Ukraine or Russia you stand on, we are all susceptible to psychological and narrative control operations that we must understand about ourselves.
Do not be swayed by politics and flags, but rather look at the underlying observations, that is where the truth rests.
Signal, not noise!
The System does NOT want you to know this...
Don't be emotional because it is an unpopular opinion BUT you need to understand that the war between Russia and Ukraine is a "civilizational war" and the PSYOP is playing out entirely on YOU...
Ukraine is losing around 11,000+ men to around 35,000+ young men PER MONTH, every month.
Russia is losing at minimum the same number of young men EVERY single month.
They are BOTH predominantly of Christian Orthodox Slavics fighting each other, while being egged on by two other European camps who are sponsoring the war entirely...
The other side sponsoring the wars are Germanic Christians and Romance Christians. Many will dismiss this because they do not understand historical context, but you should look into this.
When you see it through this historical and religious lens, you understand that this is not "just about Russian aggression".
It is an old feud being reignited trying to be settled by Europeans but instead of using their own men to do it, they are doing it by crushing the productive age men of the Slavics on BOTH sides of Ukraine and Russia for the benefit of Western Europeans.
These are what I call "civilizational wars", and you will understand it this way once you read and look into history without your emotions and despite what you have been spoon fed by your respective governments.
They are trying to crush Russia using Ukrainian bodies to reduce the numbers of Slavics across Europe overall to eventually take over and divide Russian lands and resources. That's it, that's all.

๐ฆ๐๐๐ก๐๐, ๐ก๐ข๐ง ๐ก๐ข๐๐ฆ๐!!
An observation from years of travelling through Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and Asia...
Migration works like a sorting machine, and the West receives only ONE LAYER of what it sorts...
In the west, there are observable levels to being "wealthy", this is also true in every country as there are "levels of POOR", levels of educated, levels of sophistication, and each class moves differently...
The "wealthy" and the "educated" mostly do not get on boats to seek out a better life.
They typically move their businesses and their capital to the Egypt, UAE, Turkey, Qatar, Malaysia, Malta or Cyprus, set up shop there, and run their operations remotely. They take their money east and south, not to the West because the tax system does not make sense for them.
The middle class and the REALLY poor of these countries mostly stay. They are getting by, holding onto a job, and they will not gamble their families on a sea crossing or a cartel route.
What is left is the bottom and perhaps a lower to middle, the people with the least education, the sophistication, the least capital and the least to fall back on.
They are the ones who pool the village's money or borrow across the family, and put themselves on the boats and the land routes to Europe and North America.
And this is what ties it together. For years Hollywood, and more recently, social media has shown them a "Western life" in high definition, every day, in the phone in their hand.
This mechanism creates and manufactures the demand. And the supply is advertised right beside it.
In one of my recent trips to South Africa and Kenya over a 2 week period, I saw two Instagram ads laying out the route to Europe, the price, and a phone number to call for more.
The smugglers advertise AND market openly on the same platforms that sell the dream.
The issue is NOT their intention. Many want a better life, many want to send money home. The issue is that the layer the West receives is the one LEAST equipped to integrate into a high-cost, high-skill society, and that mismatch is where the FRICTION begins because populations have had mass migration of one form or another since the human migration to leave Africa began, but the issue is now the social and educational friction that does not jive with the host country's culture.
So my honest assessment and observation here is this...
Until the Social Media advertising is destroyed, and the smuggling networks advertising on it are removed, or are addressed, the boats will keep coming, and the land corridors keep opening up because the demand is being manufactured faster than any border can hold it.

India has a lot of problems, but it also has potential solutions.
If you are in India and an Indian and not making it your life's goal to stay in your country, work on getting rid of the HAZE in the air and to clean up your country, you are NOT doing much for your country...
That is the silent killer of your people that needs your attention.

The Ansrallah Houthis in Yemen just released footage of drone strikes inside Saudi territory, across Jizan, Asir and Najran.
The Houthis put every front on camera, because to them the footage is a weapon too. That gap is the first signal.
The second is bigger, and it is not about Yemen.
This is the 'democratization' of "cheap" precision air power. What used to need an air force now needs a credit card and cell signal.
A commercial agricultural drone, the kind built to spray crops, costs $20k to $30k USD, lifts around 40 or more kilos, and once converted drops a dozen or more small munitions in a single run.
Ukraine and Myanmar have already turned crop sprayers into air bombers. The Houthis are doing it on the Saudi border now and on camera.
The risk in Yemen and Saudi Arabia is no longer just about "their risk"...
You can no longer mass troops at a fixed position, park aircraft on an open ramp, or hold a static border line, because two men with an off-the-shelf drone can find it and hit it from kilometres away for the price of a used car.
Precision strike used to be the monopoly of force and of states with budgets in the billions. It is now available at a farm-supply price. This changes the calculations for war, terrorism, cartels and militias...forever.
That rewrites how every army on earth will deploy, disperse and hide for the next decade. Concentration gets you killed. Survival now means dispersal, bunkers, deception and counter-drone defence built into EVERYTHING from your cities to frontlines...
And this is the danger that reaches past THESE wars.
The technology is dual-use and almost entirely unregulated.
The drone a farmer buys off the shelf today is a weapon system tomorrow. It is spreading faster than any export control or treaty, into the hands of states, militias, arms dealers and anyone with a grievance and a bank card, and it can be turned on critical infrastructure, a military base or a crowd with equal ease.
This stopped being a Yemen problem or a Saudi problem.
From my perspective, it is now global problem, and it will need the same kind of collective response the world built for chemical and nuclear technology, BEFORE the capability outruns anyone's power to govern it.
The barrier to air power has collapsed, and it is not going back up. This is your WARNING...

Iran & USA War Update:
I am about ~85% certain that kinetic military operations will resume between now and within 3 weeks AFTER the US midterm elections REGARDLESS of what happens with the American Midterm Elections.
There is a lot of false hope and narrative that should the democrats win, they will stop the war, but they forget to understand that this is not a political "party" war, this is an Institutional War, and they fail to understand that the Gaza war happened under the democrats watch with no action taken.
Both parties are part of the same ecosystem to make you believe you have options. The structure for this war has not changed, in fact, it has been strengthened by the joining of British, French, Pakistani, Turkish and Egyptian troops too and the Institutions have the SIGNAL and the confirmation now for the next phase of the WAR.
The elections and the current pause is ONLY cover to get as MANY allied European troops, assets and capabilities into position as possible before the next phase of the escalation and before the war against Iran continues...
The allies went from being the "Coalition of the Unwilling", to the "Coalition of the Forced" to the "Coalition of the Backdoor"...
They entered the war by mentioning Saudi Arabia and energy security as the reasons without saying Iran, Gaza, Trump or Netanyahu, and all while their European populations are busy burning their own streets protesting for "better education".
The System is doing what Systems do... They get you to look over "there", while they move over "here". They given you an enemy at home, so they can plunder your resources abroad.
That is the SIGNAL. Bookmark this.

Here is the missing dot about FLOCK cameras that people may have missedโฆ
Many people criticize China for the surveillance state it has set up, or the UK for how it has become a โsurveillance stateโ.
But WHY is Flock getting so popular, gaining so much ground in the United States, and getting so much criticism?
To answer these, you have to understand the structure that funds the startup companies that go viralโฆ
Because in the United States, the stuff the government CANNOT do, the government ULTIMATELY funds through investors and interest groups, so it becomes โnormalizedโ through โprivate investmentโ and โprivate equityโ.
The โprivateโ side keeps developing the technology further, and the government, the police and those who are part of the state end up with the SAME EXACT
access the UK or China has to monitor its people, their movements and the way they go about their daily lives.
Flock fits that model exactly.
Andreessen Horowitz led a $275 mil round at a $7.5 billion valuation, police departments pay the subscriptions with public money, and more than 7,000 organizations now run the cameras, including hundreds of @Lowes and @HomeDepot parking lots.
Police can search that network typically WITHOUT a warrant.
In Mountain View, California, federal agencies were already caught searching local Flock data the city never approved them to touch.
And once the government gets access to all this data and is able to live track people, it can only get worse from there.
1. Proof of concept and Competition opens up. Every new player chasing police contracts has to collect MORE to compete, and the network only grows.
2. Over time, backdoors open up to the government, issued to these companies under legal GAG ORDERS, so they CANNOT even talk about the fact that the government has backdoor access to the application and the technology.
US law already has the tools for it, National Security Letters and FISA orders that come with a GAG.
What starts as a โquiet exceptionโ ultimately becomes realityโฆ
China and the UK built theirs in the open. America is building its own through a cap table and a city council vote, one city at a timeโฆ

ANOTHER SIGNAL and Indicator...
Iran just handed out dog tags to its Air Defense soldiers. Footage today from Mashhad.
This is what I call a "Small object" with a large SIGNAL.
I got my first military "dog tag" prior to basic training and dog tag have one job, in every army on earth.
It is to help identify dead soldiers, especially when the identity can no longer be recognized, if you have done time in the military you know this and we have just accepted this as a way for our dead bodies to be identified.
America made the metal disc standard issue more than a century ago, when "industrial war" started leaving remains that nothing else could name, because metal survives the fire and blast that destroy flesh, paper and everything soft.
Every deploying NATO soldier has worn them since.
Iran just issued the dog tag to its soldiers once again. The tag is not the message. The timing is.
In Iran, the military does NOT issue identity discs across the force in peacetime. It does it when it is bracing for the kind of war that produces mass casualties, close and sustained, where men die AWAY from their home divisions and units and only a piece of metal on the body says who they were. That is Iran taking a step forward and going to a full war footing.
And note WHO is getting the dog / disc tags. Air defense crews man fixed sites, radars and missile batteries.
In a pure air war they are identified by their position and their roster. You issue personal body-worn tags when you expect soldiers dispersed, mobile and dying on open ground, far from any record.
That is the signature of preparation for a GROUND war on Iranian soil, NOT just more nights under airstrikes.
The attached film, in Mashhad, Iran, and pushed out for everyone to see. That makes it deliberate, and it carries two messages.
1. The message to America and CENTCOM is that Iran is preparing for EVERY eventuality, boots on the ground included, and intends to make that ground expensive.
2. To its own people, the message is older and blunter which says, it is time to Mobilise. This is real now.
A nation does not hand a man the object made to identify his corpse unless it is getting ready to need it.

Hope you guys are all stocked up on your beef and meat.
๐๐๐ซก
If you eat meat, this ONE IS FOR YOU, Some free advice...
Over the next 6 to 12 months, if the Existential War of the Middle East keeps escalating, the price of meat is going to climb hard if not already, and I do not mean a few percent, I mean a serious jump.
How?
War hits oil first, and oil is behind the two costs that set the price of your steak.
Diesel runs every tractor, every truck, every run from the farm to the slaughterhouse and from there to the shelf at your grocery store or your local butcher shop.
Natural gas is what fertilizer is made from, and fertilizer is what grows the hay and the feed corn the cattle eat through winter and summer.
Push diesel and fertilizer up at the same time and you have raised the cost of every single animal, from the ground up.
That cost does not stay on the farm, it reaches you at the till and in your wallet within a few months.
And this shock is not arriving into a normal market. The US cattle herd is ALREADY at its lowest level since 1951, around 86 million head, and beef is ALREADY at record prices before a single new shock hits.
Ground beef is near $6 a pound and up double digits over the past year, with the herd this thin. Now stack a war-driven diesel and fertilizer shock on top of that.
We have been here before. In 2022, when Russia invaded Ukraine, energy spiked, fertilizer roughly doubled, and global food prices hit the highest level ever recorded. Food follows energy, every time.
My read is that in a sustained shock meat runs far past the double digits we already have, potentially 50% or more over the next year, IF the escalation holds and the input shock does not ease.
So what do you do about it?
You buy in bulk now, while it is ONLY "THIS" expensive, and you lock the price in.
Depending on your family size, buy direct, portioned and frozen from a farmer or a butcher shop.
1. On your own or a couple, a QUARTER cow.
2. A family, a HALF.
3. A big household or several families together, a WHOLE animal.
Go in with your brothers, sisters, cousins, parents, even your neighbours if you can talk them into it, split one animal and split the cost.
All you need is a chest freezer and a butcher who will cut and pack it into meal-sized portions you draw down over the next 6 to 12 months.
That alone usually saves you 20 to 30% against retail cuts TODAY, before you count what you dodge if the bigger move comes...
Do it earlier rather than later, because this is about as cheap as meat is going to get over the next 12 months...
