High school kids throwing 99-102
High school kids taking 99 at the eyes oppo taco……….
Yeah I sucked at this game 😂
‘25 OF Connor Essenburg (@LWWestBaseball) gets the barrel to 99 (!) at the top of the zone & crushes a 💣 the other way, quieting a chorus of “overrated” chants. Real twitchy 2-way guy; hammering the ball this spring & throwing well today. #Kentucky commit. #PGHS @PG_Draft

One of the strangest things about our culture is how much faith we've placed in elections to change our lives and how little faith we've placed in our own ability to do the same.
People will spend months arguing about who should lead the country while spending zero time considering how they could better lead themselves.
...and THAT is a much bigger problem than most people realize.
Because the strength of a country is ultimately a reflection of the character, discipline and standards of the people who make it up.
That's you.
Politics is downstream of culture.
We can keep changing the people in charge, passing new laws and arguing over which party has the answers…
...but until we change the culture fostering, producing and tolerating the problems we have as a society nothing fundamentally changes.
A population of weak, unhealthy, uninformed and dependent people is a hell of a lot easier to control than a population of strong, healthy, educated and self-reliant people.
Your responsibility is to become the exact opposite of everything they want for you to the best of your abilities.
Your REAL best.
In my opinion that's our obligation as Americans.
A culture of personal excellence is the foundation of a great country.
There is no election, politician, policy or law that can substitute for that.
.....and the best thing about that is the same behaviors that make you a better American also make your own life better quickly.
If we want a better America…
It starts with being better Americans.
There is no other way.
Personal Excellence is the Ultimate Rebellion.

Happy Birthday to Kevin Millar, whose "Don't let us win" oration should be taught in schools alongside the Gettysburg Address and that "ask not" JFK thing.

College football was so much more wholesome when players were paid under the table, everybody got free Dodge Chargers and autograph signing sessions took place in shady hotel rooms

Buddy Stephens loading up with half a bag of Red Man was a cinematic masterpiece.
He’d average 30 and 20 to prove that men don’t belong in women’s sports. It’s legit basic science. The point is actually pretty genius since everyone disagrees with Sophie so hell let men in women’s sports and see what happens…. Oh wait we already saw that in women’s swimming
I get it but why is baseball the only sport where celebrations are frowned upon. Every other sport no issue but when it comes to baseball it’s “god forbid a dude celebrate and show emotion”

IL State Games tomorrow! One of the most scouted events of the year.
It’s an exciting day for athletes and coaches. A chance for athletes to showcase their skills in front of tons of different colleges
That brings pressure. So how do you handle it?

I don’t understand why everyone is making Sophie Cunningham out to be some bad person for saying what majority of people were already thinking. If you’re born with a dick, you’re a man and you shouldn’t get to play against females. Common fucking sense

Tons of respect for the work you’ve done covering a sport that has experienced its own evolution. Take the forward pass for instance. The QB specifically became glorified & of paramount importance because of that evolution. How about the spread offense? I don’t hear anyone clamoring for “60 minutes of ground and pound” these days. If there are people BEGGING for the wishbone & punts on
4th & 1 these days I don’t hear em’. Gloves that are stickier than the spider tack baseball players use aren’t part of the game so receivers can hold a block downfield alongside a fullback that no longer exists. Michael Vick came along & revolutionized the way the QB position was played & defended. Just like Jacob Misiorowski is throwing 106MPH & making it that much tougher to get a bunt down against him. Games change whether we like it or not. I think we can both agree that executing fundamentals of the games is foundational to success. Players will evolve to perform in ways that lead to trends of compensation. Nobody is paying for sac bunts but they pay for HR’s. Nobody is paying a QB to hand it of 35 times but an Air Raider gets breaded up before he ever takes an NFL snap. The game changes.
THANK YOU!!!!!
Where did the athletic ability go?
Clutch hitting in the 8th and 9th inning?
Starting pitching that goes 8 or 9 innings?
Base stealing-hell just good base running and SPEED?!?
Sac bunts-moving runners over late in a game?
Where’s Tony Gwynn? Rod Carew?
Wade Boggs? Ichiro?
Those guys wouldn’t exist in today’s ridiculous HR or K “launch angle” game!
The game has been dying with the youth of America for YEARS and now is losing the core fanbase as well with this ridiculous product we’ve had to digest for the last 7-10 years.
Bring back Small Ball and athleticism…this shit dreadful!!!
