47% of people who had a cannabis-induced psychosis later developed schizophrenia or bipolar disorder.
That's from a study of every person in Denmark diagnosed with substance-induced psychosis over 20 years. Cannabis beat every other drug, including cocaine, meth and hallucinogens.
And potency matters. In one London study, daily users of 15% THC were 5.4 times more likely to have psychosis. Today most US dispensary products run 15 to 20%, some over 30%, and dabs up to 90%.
If cannabis ever makes you paranoid, don't use it again. That's your brain telling you something.

I really like cannabis for its high
Data on 35,000+ adults: the more cannabis you’ve used in life, the bigger your hippocampus and the better your brain works after 40!
People who had ever used cannabis tended to have larger brain volume in key areas that are full of natural cannabis-like receptors (especially the hippocampus, amygdala, caudate, and putamen – these areas are important for memory, emotions, learning, and movement).
The more cannabis someone had used in their lifetime, the larger these brain areas were and the better they performed on tests of learning, processing speed, and short-term memory.

44-year study showed Cannabis users showed LESS brain aging/decline!
Main finding: Men who had ever used cannabis actually showed less drop in their cognitive (thinking) abilities over the decades compared to men who never used it.
Among the cannabis users, things like starting at a young age or using it frequently did not lead to worse long-term cognitive decline.
Overall conclusion: In this large group of men tracked for over 40 years, cannabis use did not cause harmful long-term effects on age-related brain aging or cognitive decline.

This is my dream of a privacy hell. Lately I live my phone at home, screen time down to 2 hrs on a heavy day.
I suspect Midnight is dodgy business.
Gotta do it, just not at 2am

Prisoner's dilemma! I know who might like this @Liv_Boeree
Update: for anyone interested in the discussion @nntaleb and I are having about @stephen_wolfram's work on prisoner's dilemma tournaments, the state of the art is beautifully summarized by Joshua Plotkin (among the world's leading experts on all of this): nitter.gq/jplotkin/status/210752…

Hey @Cardano_CF @Catalyst_onX in case you are not aware ive lost what is currently over 300k $ADA on a bug from @DanoFinance to which they denied responsibility and refuse to compensate me.
Which representatives are you currently in contact with? ive asked Dano Finance to produce its company information so i can pursue legal action but they have only ignored me.
And here you are funding them to build more platforms that risk users funds.

Ayn Rand wasn't "prophetic". She was living in reality and therefore knew exactly how America would end up based on onbserving the world around her. She was also bang on about conservatives.

I am convinced that analytical thinking of the sort needed in computer programming is closely linked to language skills. I don't think it's a coincidence that many of the best programmers I know have degrees in history, comparative literature, and the like. It is also no coincidence that some of the worst programs I have seen were written by engineers, physicists, and mathematicians who spent a lot of energy at university staying as far away from language and literature classes as possible.
So, if you have to resort to AI to do your writing for you, we have a problem. My advice is to dump the AI and actually learn how to write. Take an English Composition class at the local junior college, for example. Becoming a better writer will make you a better programmer.
