I think browser is going to go away as we know it, and “agentic browser” is not what is going to replace it. The next browser is the ChatGPT app or Muse and websites will just have to find a way to fit into that chat window in some other form

Recently I wanted to build and open-source tool. I haven't opened a code editor in a long while, always working out of claude code or codex. So before publishing it I decided to check what it produced, downloaded Zed and... On the level of slop it was more cringe than the AI videos of Will Smith eating spaghetti from 2024, yes we can tell it's him and that there is spaghetti, but lots of things are off, same here, code works, but it is not how it should have looked. And that's Sol 6.1 doing the work, from now on I'm going back to using a code editor until I build concrete skills for my AI that would handle code with the style I want.

Everybody who works with AI is working harder and more hours than before. Everyone that thinks AI going to give them UBI or high unemployment is about to find out

I was building out an SDK for @opencapital_sh and asked Sol 6.1 make me a list of public APIs. It proposed 59 routes… which I later had to manually combine into 8 that made sense. You can’t trust these bots to design anything you want to make public.

I hope California passes the 5% wealth tax just so New York sees how bad it is going to get and thinks twice before doing it too

AI trade is struggling today, will be buying some more tomorrow

$AMZN falling 5% is a great opportunity to buy, the earnings are next week, I think AWS continues to rip

Ok, at this point I have to admit that maybe Anthropic was right about security issues with release of Fable, just took a while

I have been buying lots of META recently, it has been greatly undervalued for the growth it was showing, now we just need to start seeing AI usage and cash flow recovery reported, stock performance will be glorious when that happens
Introducing Muse Wonder, our new family of frontier models with state of the art performance for personal and professional agentic work.

Every time I come up with a business idea I ask myself if that’s what I want to do for the next 10 years and that somehow devolves into tying my personality to the business which is unhealthy. True hustlers I met don’t ask those questions, they just build shit and make money

I just asked ChatGPT for lyrics to kid song so we could sing it with the kid. It refused saying it can’t reproduce lyrics of a copyrighted song, so dumb, they nuked AI for safety sake

India and countries that are welcoming educated immigrants from there like Singapore and Dubai will win because of that
Indian stock market added close to $200 billion dollars today after the H1B announcement. Most gains came from Indian IT firms. Here's what MAGA doesn't understand; H1B = America wins. No H1B = India wins. The US economy is so massive that the 70,000 American citizens that graduate in IT each year are not enough to support the booming IT sector and the talent required to win the AI race against China. If American tech companies can't hire talent in the US, they off shore it. Because there simply isn't enough talent. Nothing to do with Americans being "dumb". Americans are some of the smartest people in the world. It's everything to do with how massive the economy is. What America loses with no H1B is an individual living in the US and paying taxes. Now employees hired in India will pay taxes in India.

I never hear about Lovable and the likes anymore. They are probably still printing though

How is GPU depreciation cycle even a bear case against Nvidia, I don’t get it, if anything it would be bullish for Nvidia and bearish for anyone buying them in bulk

Everything will have a JS library, browser is just such a good environment for dev we can’t help it
Motion matching, running in the browser. WebGPU + Rust/WASM in my toy renderer. Every frame searches a pose database for the clip that best matches the stick + predicted trajectory, inertialized blends, foot locking, and parkour with motion warping.

I guess if you want any realism in your video game you have to use Unreal Engine, kind of a bummer, don’t want to read any c++ and for sure don’t want to deal with visual editors
11
I should test Jev for an AI in a video game, I wonder if it will make it too hard to win against

I'm marveled at the scope of Lineage 2 and WoW, I can't comprehend how could anybody build such big projects back in early 2000s. I have been part of a few pretty large enterprise software tools and just a bit of scope creep kills the project, but to build something like WoW you would need some real TALENT.

Yes, Agents can write Rust now, but I'm still not comfortable in the ecosystem and every time it writes Rust for me I have to trust the LLM, I don't, so I'm going to use it only when it's the last resort to make something run fast.

Many are commenting that Financial jobs are over. You wish. Customers will just demand way more quality and quantity of analysis. Just like coders are working more than ever, so will financial pros.
