I know its not as sexy as trying to build a movement, but I am proud to have spent a decade writing from a feminist perspective in outlets women like JCJ sneered at.
The simple truth is that Jane never had the leadership skills required to build a movement. She couldn't even lead her own editorial team without it devolving into bullying and backbiting (by her).
The fact is, some people see charts like this and think "we need to do something about this".

We are reporting today from the Employment Appeal Tribunal of Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (or DSTL) v Wilkins. DSTL is appealing.
Dr Peter Wilkins, a civil servant, won an employment tribunal case in March 2025 for constructive dismissal, harassment and direct discrimination based on his protected gender-critical beliefs.

Less than 15% of Arab Israelis identify as Palestinian (and most polls have it closer to 7%). You don’t get to decide what our identity is.
