Coming out of twitter retirement (!) just to say what an amazing orchestra and chorus this was to work with on Wednesday. The Faure Requiem was one of the best I’ve ever heard and I felt lucky to play a small part in this… a soul balm in these turbulent musical times.
Wow, what a concert! Thanks to David Hill, Alison Ponsford-Hill, Božidar Smiljanić and @BS_Chorus 🎶 Next week we’ll be welcoming violin legend @JamesEhnes… another not to miss!⭐️ pulse.ly/yxx1utbwwb

The Southbank Centre is bringing only one international orchestra to its autumn season... and depressingly, it's selling badly. Balcony closed, shedload of tickets still available tonight for the Montreal SO, Víkingur Ólafsson, Rafael Payare... Come on, folks!
Excited to be performing this evening at the St Albans organ festival concert series with my father-in-law, David Ponsford on the Virginals. St Peter’s Chruch 5.30pm today.

Forget all the spin, today, at the IFS, Chief Economist of Citibank, Benjamin Nabarro, nailed it - Brexit has been a disaster. "The UK is an economic laggard...the only economy not to have recovered its pre-pandemic level...total UK trade remains 25-30% off its pre-Brexit trend."

So there we have it. It is confirmed that Scotland is snow-free yet again. The last patch, the Sphinx, disappeared sometime in the last 24 hours. The Sphinx has now vanished four times in the last six years, having done so only five times in the last 300 years. (1/2)

We are very sad to announce the death of our founder, Terry Edwards, after a short illness. Terry died peacefully this morning - his wife Judy was with him. We will be forever grateful to him for his enterprise, industry, grace, humour and brilliant musicianship. RIP
