Tom Cruise says he spent months preparing Emily Blunt’s 85 pound exosuit for Edge of Tomorrow, only for her to struggle with its weight before he told her to “stop being a wuss” and later became overprotective after discovering she was secretly pregnant.
“I’d spent months prepping it and working on it,” Tom said.
“He told me to stop being a wuss. It was the best thing just to make me laugh because I was like, ‘If he hugs me right now, it’s over.’”
“During reshoots, Tom was confused about why I wasn’t doing all the stunts. Eventually, I told him, ‘Because I’m growing a human.’”

🇺🇸 A Cat Thought Lost in a Deadly Mudslide Reappeared Nearly Three Years Later
In January 2018, devastating mudslides struck Montecito, California, killing 23 people and destroying homes. Among those who disappeared was Patches, a calico cat belonging to Josie Gower, who also lost her life in the disaster. Patches was believed to have died in the mudslides, and her family had little reason to expect a reunion.
Then, in December 2020, a stray cat arrived at the Animal Shelter Assistance Program in Santa Barbara County. When shelter staff scanned her microchip, they discovered that she was Patches. Even more remarkably, she had been found less than a quarter of a mile from her former home.
On New Year's Eve, Patches reunited with Norm Borgatello, Josie's partner. Nobody knew exactly how she had survived or where she had been for nearly three years, but her return brought a little happiness after a terrible tragedy.
A tiny microchip can make the difference between a lost pet remaining a mystery and finding its way back to a family. Even when hope seems gone, identifying and helping stray animals can lead to unexpected reunions.
