Stephen Kalyn on Dean Di Laurentis in Season Two via People While fans got to see “a lot of that Playboy charm from Dean” in the first season, he says “there’s a lot of exploration for Dean when it comes to just growing as a human being” in season 2. “On paper, the character can be the most typical frat boy douchebag you could imagine, but I really wanted to make him have a sensitive, sweet side that you can see,” he says. “I really liked playing the sensitive side to him, because that’s kind of like me in real life.”
