If every Bible in the world is destroyed and nobody passed its stories down, a thousand years from now, people will never know those stories existed. But destroy every book about evolution, the universe, science, and how nature works, and future generations could still figure them out through observation and discovery. The books may be lost, but the knowledge can be found again. That's the difference between believing something and knowing something is true.
