Now that @Spotify deemed it okay to run ICE recruitment ads and we're all canceling, where are we all going for our streaming needs? I don't have an iPhone so Apple Music isn't an option.
Trump has threatened to defund NYC if Mamdani is elected Mayor.
Does that mean NY would no longer have to pay federal taxes? Because, don't tempt us Donald.
I am a pantser when it comes to writing, except today in an hour I plotted out an entire romance novel as the first in an interconnected series where all the MCs are 38 or older because romance DOES exist over the age of 35. #WritingCommunity
Please do your due diligence when checking an author account is legit. I was followed and messaged by @lana_fergusonA but Lana does NOT have X. This account is years old and has over 2500 followers with a legit looking substack link so it's a tricky one. #WritingCommunity
37 people I follow also follow this fake account! And it only allows reporting impersonation of another X account. #WritingCommunity
Posted this over on the 🦋app but thought I should post it here too. Unbound is officially being queried! #writingcommunity #amquerying
I got a request from #PitchDis from an agent on my list!! #writingcommunity
An agent told me "great comps" when reviewing my query and if that didn't make me feel amazing, super positive feedback on my first ten pages also helped! #WritingCommunity
So I missed #unhingedpit 😭But I was a little busy with a frozen embryo transfer yesterday. I know #PitchDis is in September on the butterfly app. Any other upcoming pitch events?? #WritingCommmunity
So when it comes to putting together a spreadsheet for my agent list there's overboard...and then whatever the hell I did. #WritingCommunity #amquerying
Has anyone used @MSWLMA for a query critique? Was it helpful? The non-agent feedback I'm receiving on my query is very confusing and contradictory. #WritingCommunity
Best tips for when a writer is making their query list? How do you decide who to query first? What happens if you get early bites, but other agents aren't open to queries? #amquerying #WritingCommunity
What makes a contemporary fantasy a high fantasy? In my MS there are two worlds, one is present day Maryland, the other is also present day, but with ✨magic✨ #WritingCommunity #amquerying
OMG the synopsis is going to be the end of me. #writingcommunity #amquerying
Working on an #agentsguide for Unbound. Where do folks source their pictures? I have no idea how to tell if something is AI generated or not, not all of them have the tell-tale flaws.
If you have #ADHD and either medication doesn't work for you or you can't be on it, what are your tips and tricks? I'm officially med free for the next year or so (hopefully).
I signed up for my QT premium membership today which means I'm✨manifesting✨one year from now I will NOT need to renew because I'll be agented and on sub. #PositiveVibes #WritingCommunity
Will anyone in publishing talk about the Luke Bateman book deal debacle or is it unprofessional to have public opinions on it? Also, who can write and publish an epic fantasy in TWENTY MONTHS??? (p.s. I DO have a fantasy MS completed...just saying, Atria) #WritingCommunity
