Pals. Something happened at the shoppy today. A very lovely gentleman came in to gift M&D some pennies for ‘doing a good job’. He said we could buy some shoppy tea and biccies with it. Also, mum has received some choccies in the post this week from similarly wonderful folks. Gifts from people who think we are doing a good job. Can you even believe it pals. We can’t sometimes. The generosity of people constantly brings us to near tears. Pals, sometimes life is just bloody wonderful. Love from us 💕💕💕

In 2011 I walked my first #Morris walking weekend in Wales. It’s something @shrewsmorris did for many years around the UK. Over a weekend we walked as a team and stayed in local hostels. We’d play music, eat, chat, sing and just have fun together. Sadly, Covid put an end to all that which was a shame. It was fun though! #morrishistory. 👍🙏🪗🕺💃

(Amanda) Something went wrong when Betty tried to help me share the news about the Pumpkin Competition. I don't understand anything about computers but I think she's fixed it now. The humans had their Pumpkin Competition at the weekend and Uncle Andy won! His pumpkin was 302 pounds and Uncle Mick came second. I think they are going to do it again next year.
