Tokyo, week two 🇯🇵 A care home living lab, a research team at TMIG, 40 people at Nichii Gakkan, a newspaper interview and an investor meeting. Two weeks ago we barely knew anyone in Japan. Now we have a study to plan and people waiting for us to come back in November.

Konnichiwa! Last week, Amical exhibited in Asia for the first time, at H.C.R. 2026 in Tokyo. It's always amazing to see how well Amical works, no matter the distance or the country.

Two birds, one stone 🧪 Amical is proud to be selected twice in the same envisAGE cohort: PAIR+ turns daily check-in calls to seniors living alone into real conversations (also selected by AVISÉ), and a long-term care study will test how our AI detects critical events.

Today, for National Seniors Day, we were at @AGEWELL_NCE's AgeTech Discovery Day at @Mila_Quebec in Montréal. The idea: bring seniors into the conversation about the tech being built for them. Many picked up our phone and gave us their honest take. There was even Zumba 💃
