TIL: Attending #SPLASH2022 from Berlin was sufficient to reach OneWorld Ruby status midway. As a light traveler, what the heck am I supposed to do with an extra complimentary bag? I'd welcome a higher carry-on allowance, so I can travel with *fewer* bags.

At LHR for 8 hours. The longer you stay, the worse it gets: Long queues, packed buses, broken sockets, expensive food, unstable WiFi, hidden water fountains, not enough seating, the omnipresent announcements asking passengers to check their carry-on bags... 😬

The skill is called programming, but often we spend most of our time debugging. To get better at debugging, we organized Debugging Contests - fun events to hone our debugging skills. If you want to know more, my colleague @amintos will talk about it @splashcon at 22:00 UTC!

PSA: most presentation software creates a new window when going into presentation mode. Thus, sharing the window of the software before starting the presentation doesn't work. Simple solution: share the whole screen please.
