Everyone's bidding for prompt engineers. The winners are quietly fixing their data. A clever prompt evaporates with the next model release. Governed data compounds, and nobody can copy it in a weekend. One you rent. The other you own. amitpate.substack.com/p/the-…

For a year I've made generated 3D worlds pass physics checks before a player sees them. Last week I applied the same idea to text: a citation is a contract between an answer and its source. So I wrote the test suite for the contract. Open source: github.com/amitpate/grounded…

For years, "generative 3D" meant a chair floating in mid-air. The models could draw a world. They didn't understand it. The unlock in 2026 wasn't a bigger model. It was physics — gravity, orientation, context. A chair belongs on the floor, facing the fire, not hovering above it. Once a generation obeys the rules of the world, it stops being a demo and becomes playable. Text in → editable 3D scene → playable world out. We taught the machine to make dreams obey physics. When Autodesk ships a text-to-3D model (Wonder 3D), the shift stops being fringe. Incumbents entering validates the category — but they build for the existing pro workflow. The real winners rethink it for people who've never opened Maya. Access beats features. Every time.

I've spent 10+ years building AI for Games, Film and Live Sport. 2 Cannes Gold Lions. SXSW Best in Show. A platform that turns words into playable 3D games. Here's what almost everyone gets wrong about AI and the creative industry 🧵

Now with @orio_games I'm building the end state: type a sentence, get a playable 3D game. No code. The "YouTube for Games." The bottleneck in creativity was never imagination. It was the technical tax between your idea and the thing.

My honest prediction for Creative AI: → The winners won't be the best prompters. They'll be the best editors & taste-makers. → Distribution beats generation. → "Made by AI" stops being a label — it's just how things get made. I'll post the behind-the-scenes here daily. Follow along. What do you think AI gets wrong about Creativity? 👇

Chaos slate. Brazil out. Portugal edge Croatia. Netherlands put 5 past Sweden. Every one of those had a moment that could've flipped it. Pick yours, call the ending, settle it at The Drop 👇

"AI will replace artists" is a 2023 take. The 2026 reality: the artists using AI are quietly doing the work of entire studios — and the ones who refused to touch it are getting replaced. Not by AI. By other Artists.

@GaryLineker @Chunkz @afcstuff 18 y/o dropped onto Oyarzabal's goal — is Yamal already HIM? 👇🇪🇸

Balogun scored vs Bosnia — but be honest, does CAPTAIN AMERICA bury that exact same ball? I staked 250 on Pulisic. The sim settles it, not the group chat 🇺🇸 #USMNT #Pulisic #WorldCup2026 app.playtwst.com/share/scena…

@alexislalas @taylortwellman @HerculezG Pulisic dropped onto Balogun's goal — Cap scores it or not? 👇🇺🇸

Barcola's chance vs Sweden: SAVED. The kids are flashy but GRIEZMANN buries that in his sleep — so I staked 250 on the old guard 🇫🇷 France fans under 25, tell me I'm wrong 👇 #Griezmann #FRA #WorldCup2026 app.playtwst.com/share/scena…

@IanWright0 @David_Ornstein @thef2 old guard vs new — Griezmann dropped onto Barcola's saved chance. Does he score it? 👇🇫🇷
