My favorite part of @HumbleISD_TMS are our students and their families. A sweet student had a surprise visit during lunch. It’s also a good reminder that our students have a lot going on outside of school.

We have fall plans in place that support individual needs/choices for @HumbleISD students and staff. TEA guidance released today does not require changes to our plans. We will continue to monitor community health data and make any necessary adjustments to our plans by August 1.

Education has always seemed to be focused on fixing teachers. Teachers don’t need to be fixed but they do need to be supported, encouraged, inspired & appreciated. Maybe Education should focus more on developing leaders who can support, encourage, inspire & appreciate teachers.
