Nine months ago, Alex Pretti was on Nicollet Ave when federal agents disarmed him before shooting him at least 10 times, killing him. Today, America is voting, and in Minneapolis, people are showing up on Nicollet Ave in the rain to place their “I Voted” stickers at his memorial.

if you're a young person (or tbh any age, but it's usually pretty young people) and you find yourself in a "friend group" where the entire group dynamic seems to be built on hating people and even harassing them: GET OUT OF THERE. NOW.

voting is a political tool. the problem
is, the vast majority of us think voting is our ONLY political tool & that’s where we lose power. the most radical changes to this country didn’t happen in a voting booth. vote, sure. but our political engagement cannot end there, it can’t.
you and hundreds of thousands of other people have this exact same mindset, its pointless because you all choose to believe this but if you actually go out and vote and encourage other people to also vote then it will make a significant difference. even though youre one person
