Another example of why investment in diversification of our economy is so important. When Colin Powell ( who should have been Sir Colin Powell before he passed) wrote his survey in 1971 tourism accounted for 50% of our economy, now it is around 8%. Things are always changing!

Here's a thing. The 15-24, 25-44 & 45-64 cohorts in the UK are pretty much the same percentage of the overall population now as they were in 1960.
But the under 15 cohort has fallen from 24% to 18% and the over 65 cohort has risen from 12% to 18%.
