This man had raped a 6 year old girl in the year before he abducted Kylie. A jury had declined to indict him bc of a lack of evidence beyond the horrific testimony of a 6 yr old. The family of the victim had been begging the courts to do something, they refused. He had been living across the street from an elementary school while he had her captive. Kylie literally rescued herself by telling another child via AMONG US CHAT that she was being held captive, and the childβs parents contacted the FBI.
All of this would have been avoided if the testimony of a little girl had been respected. Shame on that jury. Shame on the courts.

She was held captive in an Oregon home, repeatedly assaulted, cut off from the outside world, and forced to remove her own braces with PLIERS so she would be harder to identify.
She was just 15 years old when she disappeared.
Kylie Arellano vanished from her home in Garden City, Utah, on May 29, 2025. For nearly a year and a half, her family and investigators searched for answers.
Now 17, Kylie has been found alive.
Federal investigators allege that Adam Hunter Harmel (39) met Kylie online, offered her money to travel to Oregon, and drove to Utah to pick her up.
Once in Oregon, Harmel allegedly threw her phone into a river, prevented her from leaving, and subjected her to repeated physical and sexual assaults.
But after 17 months, Kylie found a way to reach someone.
She reportedly contacted another child through an online gaming platform. That child told a parent, who contacted the FBI. Agents eventually listened in on a video call as Kylie described what had happened to her.
On November 1, 2026, authorities rescued Kylie from a home in Huntington, Oregon.
Harmel was arrested and is now facing federal charges.
Think about that. A teenager held captive for 17 months managed to find a way to get help through an online game.
And because another child spoke up, and a parent took it seriously, Kylie is finally free.
We know how investigators say she ended up in Oregon. What is difficult to comprehend is how she could be held there for 17 months without anyone discovering what was happening.
But today, the most important thing is that Kylie survived.

In May 1958, CIA pilot Allen Pope was shot down and captured while flying a Douglas B-26 Invader during the Indonesian Crisis. After learning that Pope was being held on house arrest at a jungle resort on the slopes of Mt. Merapi, and had some freedom of movement outside, the CIAβs Technical Services Staff came up with a plan to air-drop an inflatable airplane to him, so he could rescue himself.
According to authors Robert Wallace and Keith Melton, CIA turned to the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, which had been working to develop an inflatable rubber plane called the Inflatoplane. Several prototypes were built for the US military, including single-seat and dual-seat designs.
The single-seat model could be packed up in a mere 44 cubic feet with a 40-hp engine and propeller strapped on top. There was also an onboard air compressor which would maintain positive pressure during flight, even if the aircraft were punctured by several .30 caliber bullets. The Inflatoplane had relatively low top speeds and range but was considered more than sufficient for the Pope rescue scenario.
Inflatoplanes were designed to be filled with compressed air from a canister, but the CIA worked instead to fill the fuselage with chemical pellets. When Pope reached the aircraft, all he would need to do was pour water into the reservoir, which would react with the chemical pellets, quickly filling the rubber fuselage with an inert gas. Pope could then fly himself to safety.
The prototype was tested and ready, but the rescue operation was ultimately canceled for unknown reasons. Pope remained under house arrest until 1962, when he was released after diplomatic negotiations. Some reports indicate two paramilitary CIA officers assisted him in escaping to safety. Pope returned to service with the CIA afterwards as a pilot on covert missions.
Years later when another mission offered the potential of using the inflatable airplane, CIA technicians pulled it from the warehouse only to discover that the rubber was dried up and cracked due to lack of maintenance. The prototype was discarded, never to be used again.

Pas diserahin ke BKSDA Kalteng tanggal 2 November, tim medis nemuin paket lengkap penderitaan satwa dilindungi: dehidrasi parah, kurang nutrisi, plus bonus 2 proyektil peluru bersarang di badannya π¦§π«
