Hello, friends! I’m going to spend the next half hour or so tweeting a thread of short benedictions, speaking peace over our minds, our bodies, our relationships, etc. In between each tweet I’ll close my eyes and breathe deeply for a minute or two. You’re welcome to join me.
Tax issues in CO are ballot issues because of TABOR. Feeding kids shouldn’t be something we vote on. Let’s just feed kids, okay?
But since we have to vote, show up for kids.
The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team.

Thrilled to hear that @USDA expanded SNAP online shopping to over 1200 stores.
This is significant because in 2020, only 35k SNAP households shopped online. In July 2022 - over 3 MILLION SNAP households shopped online.

Had to explain to my mother that the guy panhandling outside the hiring grocery store probably doesn't have a home address or a vehicle and that's why he can't get a job there, and she was STUNNED to know those things are requirements.

Thank you @POTUS for this Executive Order paving the way for Medicaid to pay for out-of-state abortions—a critical step to accessibility.
Even under Roe, people of color and those with low incomes weren’t guaranteed access to care. Abortion must be legal AND accessible.
Today’s Executive Order builds on the first Executive Order that I signed last month to safeguard access to health care – including abortion care – that was ripped away.
I told you I wouldn’t back down. That hasn’t changed.

ALT President Biden's newest Executive Order on Reproductive Healthcare will: 1. Support patients traveling out of state for abortion care or other medical care 2. Ensure health care providers comply with federal non-discrimination law 3. Promote research and data collection on maternal health outcomes

Should we always fill up the gains we get from tech with more productivity from humans?
We’re already stressed the fuck out.
Maybe we need to relax a little. Maybe it’s time for us to rethink how people contribute to society.

In 1869 it was decided to have 9 Supreme Court justices because there were 9 Circuit Courts.
Now there are 13 Circuit Courts. So what exactly are we waiting for?
