Hey twitter, know any contemporary poets who are also activists/whose creative work is interlinked with activism?

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but ADHD does NOT mean you are hyperactive.
Some ADHDers are hyperactive, but there’s a whole other presentation of ADHD called Predominantly Inattentive, which is more common in women and doesn’t look hyperactive at all.

In February I was paying 130 euros a month for Electricity. now 135 euros a month. In October it will be 135 euros a month and in January it will be 135 euros a month, that’s the difference when your government protects its citizens from rises & energy companies are nationalised

Is this a joke? ASOS shortlisted for the @Drapers Sustainable Fashion Awards shows how low the bar is. A fast fashion juggernaut that actively promotes overconsumption & produces thousands of new garments every month from fossil fuel based fabrics. This is beyond parody.
We’re delighted to have been shortlisted in @Drapers Sustainable Fashion Awards for Best Circularity Initiative, in recognition of our Circular Design Guidebook created with @sustfash! Congrats to all our fellow nominees 👏 Read more about our Guidebook 👉 asosplc.com/news/asos-and-ce…

• Constant supply of books
• Fooooood
• Water
• A comfy seat
• Sleep, but only after reading five more chapters than intended
• More books
• Chocolate
• Emotional support
• Fictional plots to get overly invested in
• Blankets.

Today’s writing prompt:
Familiarity breaks through the haze, you’ve been here before, as a child. It’s so calm, quiet. Too quiet?

There are 3.7 million people in Britain who are clinically extremely vulnerable. They are not second class citizens. They are your teacher, neighbour, newsagent, mum, nurse. And they deserve to “live with covid” - actually live with it - as much as anyone else.
