Hello World
Joined August 2009
When I met Nikhil and Jesse, they just left Celo to start @0xPredicate. They saw early that onchain payments and RWAs would only scale if compliance was enforced at the contract level. Three yrs later, RWAs (ex-stablecoins) have grown 15x from ~$2.5B to ~$39B, and Predicate is serving companies like MoneyGram, Paxos Labs, and MetaMask. Proud to have backed them from day one!
We are thrilled to announce our $8M Series A to connect regulated markets to onchain finance. Predicate enables digital assets to reach every market compliantly. We do this by embedding compliance controls directly into digital assets to block high-risk and sanctioned activity at every transaction. To date, Predicate has: - Screened $1B+ in transaction volume - Evaluated 6M+ transactions against custom compliance policies - Blocked 100K+ non-compliant transactions The round was led by @bcap with participation from @Paxos, @1kxnetwork and @tribecap.

No one better to lead it!
Temporal’s mission is to overthrow the established financial order and re-engineer global financial markets onchain. This team shares my conviction that markets can be fairer, more equitable, and more efficient, but only if they are decentralized. We have the engineering talent and the ambition to make that happen. Together, with @HypoNyms, @cavemanloverboy, @libsvm, @s4bs94 @dreamsin_3d, @0xCypher_ and the rest of the elite engineers and traders here, we’re going to make Temporal the most powerful force for decentralized markets the world has ever seen, built on @Solana. The scale of what we have planned is truly extraordinary. We’re going to do things that have never been done before. I’m honored to lead Temporal as CEO. Let’s get to work.

We're thrilled to announce the Superpower Peptide Library. Every peptide, mapped to the body. 152 peptides, from approved drugs to compounds still in trials, sorted by where they act. Each one has its own page, reviewed by a physician and fully cited, covering: - the evidence and how strong it is - its FDA status - it's mechanism of action - what studies in humans have found Because not all peptides are equal. Semaglutide is FDA-approved. BPC-157, maybe the most talked-about peptide for recovery and repair, is not. In a 2025 review of its research, 35 of 36 studies were in animals or the lab. Know the science before you buy the hype. Check it out here: superpower.com/guides/peptid…

Sage is a decision model by @levantolabs hosted confidentially by @near_ai I expect more and more model builders to choose to host confidentially to ensure their customers' data is protected.
Sage is now live on NEAR AI's confidential infrastucture. Intel TDX and NVIDIA confidential computing, plus cryptographic attestation, give teams a verifiable boundary for classifying and deciding on sensitive enterprise data.

I’m joining the team at @X to lead Product. I am a huge believer in @SpaceX's mission to extend human consciousness to the stars, so it’s time to make shitposting multiplanetary. X is the best way to find out what’s happening in the world right now and talk about it. The team has been working tirelessly to make X a better place and product for the people who love it, and many have noticed the recent momentum. My goal is to help accelerate that momentum for our community, new users, and businesses globally by continuing to make this product beautiful and useful. We are twenty years in, but it truly feels like X’s next chapter will be our greatest. I look forward to your ideas and feedback; I’m sure the replies will be measured and magnanimous.

We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence. block.xyz/dessa

Crypto’s irony is that it usually is attacked first and mocked for its operational failures Yet the competition ends up looted more aggressively later by the same actors (🇰🇵) and reluctantly adopts the security solutions that wouldn’t exist without crypto being attacked first
SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios. The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios. Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said. Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior. Not your bank. Not your money.
BREAKING: AI AGENTS ARE ACCESSING MAJOR U.S. BANK ACCOUNTS WITHOUT BANK APPROVAL. According to Axios, JPMorgan, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Morgan Stanley are dealing with unauthorized third party AI agents accessing customer accounts. Some agents reportedly attempted actions beyond what customers instructed them to do. And this comes just one day after another shocking report that hackers reportedly used Claude, Grok and other AI models to automate attacks on over 400 financial targets across Latin America.

‼️ BREAKING: The private keys of 8 certificates from Indian certificate authority eMudhra were compromised, Mozilla says. Firefox blocked them within 3 hours. Each key should be a 116-digit number, but one was just 4. Anyone can guess them and forge HTTPS certs for any website.

Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.

interpretability might be the most important scientific problem in the world right now, as I don't think we can solve alignment if we don't know what we're building. I think I have good news about it. I co-authored early work in mechanistic interpretability at OpenAI and came away pessimistic, because neural networks appeared to fold into arbitrary tangled knots. years later, I started openai's first large-scale automated interpretability project, finding about 2% of neurons legible with the primitive tools we had with modern agentic tools and a much closer look, the picture looks totally different. the vast majority in models up to trillions of parameters are legible, and their circuits beautiful. many famous examples of tangled neurons turned out to be misunderstood. The roadblocks I expected mostly aren't there. I now think ambitious interpretability will be solved by the time we need it most, and possibly quite soon, as automated scientists keep improving. it may be a bitter lesson for interpretability: the simple thing, at absurd scale, works already-clean.goodfire.com/
