Noise is a secret destroyer of productivity.
It is secret because it impacts cognition, not effort, so we don’t notice, but a 10db noise increase (from a dishwasher to a vacuum) lowers productivity by 5%. Noise is also greater in poorer neighborhoods... joshuatdean.com/wp-content/u…

We're proud to showcase all 18 submissions for the Neural Audio Plug-in Competition!
Each entrant has shared their code via GitHub, along with a video description. They've also generously open sourced their code (MIT or Apache), allowing others to fork and build off their creations and find inspiration.
We have also placed all 6 NAP video livestreams on the same page, allowing anyone to check out the latest discussion on AI and audio.
We are hopeful that this can be a springboard for new trends in audio plug-in creation. I'm hopeful we can embrace these new developments with an open mind and outlook.
Thank you to everyone who participated in NAP, from the participants, judges, presenters, panelists, sponsors, and you! We are truly grateful.
There's more to come soon! Stay tuned...
Yours Truly,
Joshua Hodge and The Audio Programmer Team

Hamed and Muhammad Nijem, two high-school students from the Gaza Strip, were cousins and close friends, as these photos show. They were killed along with two other friends and their 3-year-old cousin when the Israeli military fired a missile that hit a cemetery near their home. >

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
There is currently no compelling evidence that any one of the quotations listed was really inscribed on a tablet during ancient days in Assyria.

The history of Christianity in North Africa after the Islamic conquest is very opaque. Some assume that Christian communities disappeared very quickly, but this surely wasn't the case. Here is a fascinating Latin tombstone of a Christian from Qayrawān (Tunisia) from 1007 1/
