Proud of you, Melissa. ππ«πͺπͺπͺπ«Ά
Last week, I had my last treatment session and now itβs official: IβM IN REMISSION : Confirmed by my scans and documented in reports signed by my doctors.
The last session hit so so hard but I made it through it
Yesterday, I went out to celebrate.
Because why not?
Do you understand what Iβm celebrating?
Iβm celebrating being here after around FIFTY treatment sessions since September 2025.
Iβm celebrating finding a way to pay a six-figure sum for a chance to live. I gathered that money myself, without financial help, because my health insurance would not cover experimental treatment.
I sold my car. I went from being a car owner to a car renter renting ,
I restricted my own budget, but never my childrenβs. I was determined to protect their needs while finding a way to pay for my survival.
Iβm celebrating the courage it took to help bring this treatment to France and agree to be the first patient here on my protocol, What I call βpatient zeroβ
Behind that decision was my body, my consent and my future. I accepted an experimental treatment, knowing my doctors would be learning from my response as we went.
I weighed the uncertainty and said yes because I wanted the chance to watch my daughters grow up and I hoped my experience could help create an opportunity for others whose bodies cannot tolerate standard cancer treatments.
That what my doctors learned through my care might give another patient more information, another possibility, another reason to hope.
Iβm celebrating getting through the lonely nights, the waiting between appointments, the fear I carried while still working, raising my daughters and trying to keep our lives steady.
Iβm celebrating the sacrifices behind those medical reports, the decisions I made while frightened and every session I found the strength to attend.
Yesterday, I dyed my hair , put my best make up , got dressed, put on my heels and went out to celebrate the life I fought so hard to keep.
Because Iβm still here , because I get more time with my daughters.
And because I am allowed to be DEEPLY LOUDLY proud of myselfπ€
I hope youβre all doing good and enjoying your weekend β€οΈ
3 years ago, I spent 8 hours making my first TikTok effect. Made another one today in just 30 minutes.
Before you get too impressed by my incredible learning curve and intelligence, I had guidance from @claudeai.

A new week means new opportunities, little wins, and a fresh chance to make things happen. π»
Whatever last week looked like, donβt let it define this one. Take it one day at a time and leave room for some beautiful surprises.
Whatβs one thing youβre claiming for yourself this week? π
