The team to watch in European robotics right now🦾👇
Two days in Brussels with @generalcatalyst Institute. When a drone carrying explosives turned up inside Leipzig/Halle Airport this summer, it shut a major cargo hub for hours. We’re building robots to resolve that in minutes and keep critical infrastructure running.

the graph I try to optimize so much of my life around👇 back when I was in management consulting, I would optimize for pretty much the inverse of this today, the mental clarity I have during my peak productive hours trumps any midnight oil I would burn in my 20s @ouraring

2 hard non-negotiables in my HealthOS: - Min 7:00hrs of sleep avg per night - Norwegian 4x4 at min once per week Biggest ROI in terms of mental clarity for me, by far

Riding into the Danger Zone, should only be done by Roger🦾
Our entire society relies on human sacrifice, and we take it completely for granted. The fuel that got you to work. The power charging the screen you're reading this on. The comfortable temperature in your office today. Behind all of it are unsung heroes who risk their lives every shift so the rest of us never have to think about it. They fly out to a freezing oil rig 100 miles out in the North Sea and turn a valve that may or may not have scalding gas behind it. Every year, over 7,000 people die in hazardous energy operations alone, and many more in jobs that are incredibly dangerous but too important not to do. But you mean to tell me the entire humanoid industry is RACING to fold laundry and load dishwashers? Are we serious? Minerva is building humanoids for the world's most dangerous jobs. Explosive atmospheres, arctic weather, toxic leaks, biohazards. So instead of sending a human, we can send Roger. Proud believer in @SandorFelber and @moribots since T-1. Why die when they can’t?

The ultimate use of Robotics is deployment in fields where humans should never go in the first place Hazardous environments, dangerous situations That's what @mnv_humanoids is building, and the market is already responding Very excited for the team, and proud to be an early angel
🚨 BREAKING: Minerva Humanoids (@mnv_humanoids) has just emerged from stealth with $10M in pre-seed funding led by @generalcatalyst. It's building humanoid robots for the world's most dangerous jobs. Oil and gas. Explosive ordnance disposal. Hazardous material response. ☢️ Every 75 minutes, an energy worker somewhere in the world is killed on the job. That's roughly 7,000 deaths a year. NATO consistently identifies EOD and hazmat response teams as the highest-risk segment in every unit, relying on decades-old wheeled, single-arm robots that simply lack the dexterity for complex tasks. Minerva's answer is Roger, a purpose-built semi-autonomous humanoid that puts the specialist's judgment and hands on the task while keeping their body in a command post far from the danger. Founded by CEO Sandor Felber and CTO Maurice Rahme, with first paid pilots launching this fall. The investor lineup is strong with General Catalyst, @LongJourneyVC, @CredoVentures, MVP Ventures, and many other cool funds! I am proud to be among the angel investors in this round! 😇 Having spent more than 2 years deploying robots in the energy and oil & gas sector, I know firsthand how real this problem is, and how hard it is to solve. Minerva is going after exactly the right market, with exactly the right approach. This is the kind of company robotics was always supposed to build! 🛢️ 🔗 Read more here: finance.yahoo.com/technology… ~~   ♻️ Join the weekly robotics newsletter, and never miss any news → ziegler.substack.com

the earlier you read this, the better
if you're in your 20s, start angel investing just don't go into debt for it write small checks that won't wreck your finances, then put your real effort into helping your founders. you will make new friends, grow your network and brand I started angel investing at the beginning of 2025. for me it was a way to prove myself in the space and find out whether I could actually bring value to portfolio companies before getting more serious about venture since then I've made +25 bets on exceptional founders across the US and Europe going in, the plan was really simple, put 5-15k usd into a company, help them as much as I can, and use that as proof that I can add value through new media, reach, brand awareness, and connecting startups with funds, talent and customers what I didn't expect were the side effects your network in venture and in the startup world starts compounding. If you do a good job for your founders, both founders and funds start recommending you to others that pulls you into new deals, and the quality and quantity of your dealflow keeps going up And because the companies you back keep getting better, stronger funds come in after you, which means more new friends. Maybe this is obvious to some of you, but I genuinely didn't see how fast the network, and the dealflow would grow, or how much fun the whole process would be start small. help a lot. the rest compounds. thx to every founder that accepted my tiny check, you are a rockstar!

what is the most "AI native", NON-AI startup you know about right now? so not a company building AI, but a company completely replacing old ways of doing things with AI typically a few people doing what used to take hundreds drop any names below 🙏

I know the stress relax if you’re reading this you’re still among the early few
I constantly feel behind and stressed This is coming from someone who does 50% of his work inside codex, often has multiple agents running, and follows the benchmarks of model releases Then I see something like this and I’m reminded…we are still so early If you’re reading this…you’re on the very very cutting edge The world still has no idea what’s coming

very true indeed
We're in a bubble on X. We just assume that the rest of the world knows what Dot, Muse, GrokBot, Hermes, and OpenClaw are. Approach 1,000 people on the street asking if they've heard of any of these and MAYBE 5 will have heard of one of them. We're still in the top of the first inning in terms of AI acceptance by the general pop. If you've spent even 5 minutes tinkering with agents you're ahead of 99.9% of the world.

daily habit I’m building now: weekly diary podcasts 1) make sure I drop one “daily summary” voice note on my phone every day 3-5 min max @WisprFlow captures all: random rambles, half-baked ideas, how the day went, no real filter 2) it all syncs into my Second Brain with @obsidian, claude contextualises it with everything else i read that week and month, and spits out daily + weekly summaries 3) then I turn them into podcasts 4) Saturday morning i hop on the treadmill and listen to my own brain played back to me ideas i'd normally lose now actually get followed up, and I get time to reflect on where my mind has been at honestly the best productivity hack i've found this year
