My design sheet for the big bad that we cooked up for “DC GO: Runway to Ruin”! This might be my first original contribution to DC lore (rather than a remix) which is a huge honor. (1/3)
I wanted to visually link King Cringe to the 60’s Flash’s Golden Giants (and more recently Zundernell and Quing from Morrison & Sharp’s Green Lantern run,) other all-powerful goldies in DC’s cosmology. There’s also a connection to the emotional spectrum you can read into! (2/3)

My design sheets for “Aquaman: Yo-Ho-Hold Onto Your Hook,” where we pay tribute to the rich history of Aquaman and some of the many artists that shaped it.
As comic book printing tech matured over Aquaman’s history, I liked the idea of that this man got more detailed as he aged.
