"Keith liked the Beatles because he was quite interested in their chord sequences. He also liked their harmonies, which were always a slight problem to the Rolling Stones. Keith always tried to get the harmonies off the ground but they always seemed messy. It didn't work . . . "I admired the Beatles because they were trailblazers. They showed the way. I think everyone got turned on to the idea of writing songs by the Beatles. "They were so big that it’s hard for people not alive at the time to realise just how big they were. There isn’t a real comparison with anyone now. They were so big that to be competitive with them was impossible. "Nobody will ever be as big as the Beatles. It will be ages before anything like their success happens again." --#MickJagger #Mick #Stones #RollingStones @MickJagger #RockAndRoll #HallOfFame #Knight #Influence #Beatles #TheBeatles #Songwriting #Trailblazers Sources: According To The Rolling Stones, Rosenstein; Larry King Live, 2010; Rolling Stone, 1995

Patrick was one of those icons who we somehow all took for granted would always be with us. I grew up as a fan, and was later gifted the privilege of becoming a colleague and friend, working with him for many years on “American Dad!”, “Family Guy”, and “Ted”. He was that rare actor who could take any bit of dialogue and elevate it, making a good writer sound great, and a great writer sound masterful. He was also as humble as they come. I remember exchanging emails with him a number of years ago when he was beginning day 1 of a new film. He commented to me that he always walked onto a new set feeling like the biggest novice there. My stunned reaction was the same as anyone’s would be. I said, “Patrick, if you feel that way, the rest of us are screwed.” We have lost a legendary actor today, and for many of us, a good friend. He will be deeply missed by the entire planet.

#CelebrityTraitors if James Acaster was unable to act as a traitor, shouldn’t the pre production team have ruled him out? Psychologically testing game, and maybe he shouldn’t have been put in that position. Or maybe he/his agent shouldn’t have taken the gig. Can’t get away from the fact that two traitors simply gave themselves up.

@Betfair @BetfairCS Account put on hold for no good reason. Same a few months ago.. thought your ‘issue’ been sorted. Again faceless ‘customer services’ with no person to speak to. Please sort ‘case 05372684’ as soon as possible. Don’t ask me to DM again, been through as you suggested and left with FAQ’s

Some people have chemistry on screen. Emma Thompson and Hugh Grant have the kind that makes an ordinary conversation feel like a comedy sketch. What makes their double act work is how naturally they play off each other. One can set up a joke without even finishing the sentence, and the other is already ready with a reaction. There’s no need to force the humor or compete for attention. The timing does the work. That kind of ease usually comes from knowing someone well enough to predict their next move — and still being surprised by it. They can tease each other without making it feel rehearsed, which is exactly why these classic interview moments remain so entertaining. The best comedy duos don’t just tell jokes. They make each other funnier. And honestly, isn’t that a bigger talent than being the funniest person in the room? Source:

Just watched a replay of the Max Dowman sending off and the Arteta reaction. Bad tackle on Dowman, and not the worst reaction I’ve seen. Two yellows surely would have been fine. Arteta’s response a disgrace. Would he have treated Saka the same? Bullying a kid who’d not done too much wrong. #FLEARS

Many patients still being risk assessed by QRISK2 as far simpler as integrated into EMIS, whereas QRISK3 not integrated. Any idea why not? Does it still provide a reasonable assessment? @JuliaHCox @joannabircherQI @EnlivioHealth

Resilient performance from the boys in red against a good Brighton team. Araujo my MOTM, immense at right back. First half hour excellent attacking football, with Isak, Barcola and Wirtz looking sharp. Also enjoyed Barcola’s work rate tracking back.
