It’s because the ones with good growth learned to NOT publish their numbers anymore?
Is SaaS dead?
I analyzed 758 startups with over $1,000 MRR on TrustMRR.com.
1. Their revenue over the last 4 months is slightly declining.
That compounded decline would be about 11% per year. At a steady pace, that's 45% degrowth in 5 years.
2. B2B revenue is holding up better than B2C.
Median revenue growth was 0% for B2B (255 businesses), versus −6.2% for B2C (257).
3. Existing momentum tends to persist.
Among businesses whose revenue grew at least 5% from June to July, 54% subsequently grew MRR. Among those whose revenue previously fell by at least 5%, only 35% grew MRR.
n=758 startups and $41.63M in revenue in the last 4 months.
Stop buying domains from Namecheap
Cloudflare domains is better and cheaper
Namecheap: $11.28/yr - renew $14.98/yr
Cloudflare: $10.46/yr - renew $10.46/yr
Stripe fees can add up quite a lot
My total charges currently stay at ~5.5%
I might soon need to enable its Managed Payments for MoR which adds another 3.5% fee, bringing the total to ~9%
Noone has moat anymore.
Jev opened yesterday and working useful products are already everywhere today.
My site just reached 10K clicks in 28 days.
The great thing about SEO is that it compounds.
3 months ago I decided improve my SEO.
So far it has generated 664K impressions & 11K clicks.
What worked for me:
- Maxing PageSpeed Insights
- Feeding the GSC reports to Claude every week
- Requesting index for new pages manually
- Adding internal backlinks
What I DID NOT prioritize:
- Submitting to 100s of directories
- Paying for external backlinks
- Paying for an SEO tool
Don't miss on Bing Webmaster Tools to monitor your search traffic and keywords.
I was honestly surprised that many people still use Bing search.
My site also performs better there.
The CTR on Bing is 2x from Google.
And it's reached 1M impressions now.
Crazy to think about just a few months ago.
No link buying, no page spamming.
DR climbed from 1 to 4 🤣

Just created a github account for my wife and installed claude code on her laptop.
What could go wrong? 🫣
The Codex app is just so much more pleasant to use compared to the Claude CLI & Desktop app.
It's much easier to read and the intermediate steps are nicely collapsed.
I also really like the Side Chat feature and use it quite a lot.
