The global financial system is experiencing a structural shift.
As central banks navigate debt cycles and geopolitical realignments, the rules of wealth preservation have fundamentally changed.
Relying solely on traditional fiat reserves is no longer enough.
Here is why every serious investor needs a dual-engine portfolio: Hard Assets + Digital Assets. 👇
I’ve translated @heyibinance video into English 👇

A hardware wallet can be secure by design and still become dangerous before it reaches your hands.
A new report involving a Trezor Safe 5 purchased through the CryptoBilis reseller has raised concerns about a possible hardware implant.
Trezor says it is treating the report as credible, although it has not yet received the device for independent examination.
This follows the earlier Ledger-related supply-chain investigation involving devices sold through the same reseller.
There’s an important lesson here.
Self-custody is about controlling your keys, but it also means trusting the device, its manufacturing process, distribution channel and setup environment.
A hardware wallet doesn’t eliminate trust. It changes where trust is placed.
Buy through verified channels.
Check the device carefully.
Never enter your recovery phrase into a website or share it with anyone.
In crypto, security begins long before you sign your first transaction.

Security and trust are the foundation of Web3. 🔐
We stand with @binance, @cz_binance, and the entire BNB Chain ecosystem.
At TartSwap, we’re committed to building a safer, stronger DeFi future.
You’re in safe hands with TartSwap.
A DEX needs more than traders.
It needs liquidity.
When someone swaps one token for another, liquidity is what makes that trade possible without relying on a traditional order book.
On TartSwap, users can explore available pools, add both assets to a pair, monitor their positions and remove liquidity when they choose.
And there’s another layer: eligible LP positions can also connect to farms, where users may stake LP tokens to participate in reward programmes.
But providing liquidity isn’t risk free (impermanent loss ).
Pool activity, fees and reward availability also matter.
Liquidity provision is not just about chasing APR. It’s about understanding the pair, the risks and the role your capital plays in the market.

Vulnerability everywhere 😂
We identified a security incident affecting a modified Claude Code VS Code extension accessed through our Cursor IDE extension marketplace, impacting at most 5,000 users. This malicious version of the extension was not developed by Anthropic. It does not impact other extensions downloaded from the cursor.com/marketplace, Grok Bot, Grok or our other SpaceXSI products.
In response, we took down our extension marketplace this afternoon, worked with relevant providers to neutralize the malware, and have reinstated the marketplace after confirming there is no further risk.
If affected, please review instructions in this blog post to understand how to find the malicious package and establish a path to mitigate any potential impact. We are asking all customers update to Claude Code for VS Code version 2.1.314: cursor.com/blog/claude-code-…
Finally.
@binance ‘s preliminary investigation points to a potentially compromised DevOps engineer’s laptop, which allegedly gave an attacker access to a service container and the ability to submit unauthorized withdrawal transactions.
Interestingly, Binance says it has found no evidence of a wallet private-key leak.
That distinction matters.
An exchange can protect its wallet keys and still be vulnerable if the systems, permissions and infrastructure surrounding those wallets are compromised.
The estimated impact is around $6.3 billion. Binance says approximately $3 billion has been frozen on-chain and has committed to covering all losses through SAFU and company funds.
The bigger lesson for the industry?
Crypto security isn’t just about protecting private keys. It’s about securing every layer that can authorize, initiate or execute a transaction.
The full technical post-mortem will be worth paying attention to.
@okx @star_okx @okxchinese we hope everything is fine at your end 🥵

Freezing stolen stablecoins is important. But what happens when those assets have already entered DeFi?
Reports indicate that the attacker-linked funds were being used as collateral in Aave, prompting the protocol to urgently freeze the relevant lending market to prevent further borrowing attempts.
USDT and USDC issuers can freeze their tokens. ETH doesn’t have that same issuer-level control.
So even when billions in stablecoins are frozen, the wider challenge is tracing what has already moved, what may have been borrowed against it, and where those assets end up.
This is why the Aave development matters.
The battle against crypto exploits doesn’t end when an issuer blacklists an address. It extends into lending markets, liquidity pools, bridges and every other protocol through which stolen assets might move.
DeFi’s composability is one of its greatest strengths. In an exploit, it can also become a complicated part of the recovery process.

Billions in crypto can be moved without an attacker ever needing to drain a wallet using its private key directly.
That’s what makes the reported @binance incident particularly concerning.
The on-chain trail points to a possible ETH EIP-7702 authorization exploit: malicious delegate code was reportedly authorized on Binance hot wallets, then executed through a relayer to sweep assets.
If that reconstruction is accurate, the issue goes beyond conventional private-key security. It raises serious questions about authorization signatures, signing infrastructure and the safeguards protecting institutional wallets.
And while the reported asset movements are enormous, moved funds should not automatically be treated as confirmed losses. The full scope and attack path still need to be established.
One thing is clear: securing crypto isn’t just about protecting keys anymore. It’s also about controlling what those keys and their authorizations are allowed to approve.
The industry needs to pay close attention to this one.

One of crypto’s biggest selling points is that transactions happen on transparent, public blockchains.
But transparency doesn’t automatically mean security.
The reported Binance incident is a reminder that billions in digital assets can still be exposed through weaknesses in wallet management, signing infrastructure and operational security.
There’s another interesting dimension: stablecoin issuers can freeze their tokens, while BTC and ETH don’t have an equivalent central authority.
Crypto infrastructure is evolving, but custody and security remain critical challenges.
We need to build systems that are not only fast and accessible, but resilient when things go wrong.
