Got invited by an engineering college to deliver a guest lecture on Cybersecurity for 200 first-year students.
Me: “For students, I don’t charge anything.”
College: “Sir, what would you charge?”
Me: “What’s your budget?”
College: “₹1500 honorarium sir.”
They charge lakhs in fees from students, but budget for a guest lecture that can shape careers: ₹1500 😔
This is how seriously some institutions take “industry exposure” & “skill development”. Pathetic.

Phone addiction is cortisol, not a dopamine problem.
doomscrolling meets your unmet needs of novelty, connection, and excitement—temporarily calming your nervous system.
but because your phone doesn’t nourish you long term, cortisol increases. your bodies survival feels threatened because it believes it lost something.
the moment you lower overall cortisol, is the moment your phone addiction dies.
some practical ways to lower cortisol:
> dancing
> buteyko breathing
> daily breathwork
> eat enough carbs & sodium
> supp magnesium glycinate
> EMDR/bioenergetic exercise
> physiological sigh’s
> healthy social connection
> sprinting 1-2x weekly
save this for later + send to a friend who’s addicted to their phone lol.

She has so nicely echoed the sentiments of many of us, when we are ripped off by fancy restaurants and their bite-sized portions of food 😃

You turn your phone off for hours. When you turn it back on and connect to Wi-Fi, all your messages and notifications appear instantly.
Where were those messages hiding while your phone was offline?

Practice any art. Not to get money and fame, but to experience becoming. To make your soul grow.
