Almost the entire US media and political establishment wants us to ignore this

October 2026. Black October they called it.
Hackers defrosted 200 French supermarkets.
Then Reuters reported six US military bases lost their freezers too. Back in August.
PHP dropped two critical RCEs.
The Dutch Parliament went offline. Finland's government went offline.
The NSA told everyone to patch or unplug.
A developer put Bitcoin on a vulnerable PHP server.
Someone took it.
Sony lost 2.58 million customer records.
Quest Diagnostics got hit. Half of US hospitals use them.
One stolen password exposed millions of California students.
Meta lost source code through a stolen employee credential.
850 stolen GitHub tokens planted 13,500 malicious branches.
Hackers used Claude and Grok against 400 Latin American banks.
AI agents got inside Anthropic's internal systems in 12 hours.
Trump Mobile got breached and said "We have no team to handle this."
Then on the 29th, $2.5 billion walked out of a Binance hot wallet in one transaction.
The wallet that started it was funded through Tornado Cash.
Tether and Circle froze billions within hours.
Almost none of it was sophisticated.
An old server. A stolen password. A stolen token. Firmware nobody updated.
Happy Halloween.

The problem here is we know @mikeklis9news has always done this. There is a way to ask a question like this and Mike finds the most disrespectful way to do it. Unfortunately, that won’t change.
.@mikeklis9news asked J.K. Dobbins about being the veteran in the running back room with the younger players (Coleman and Harvey) running ahead of him...
This was quite the exchange.

Jessie Bates III said he believes Michael Penix Jr. is a franchise QB. What do the stats say?
Comparing MPJ's first 17 starts with that of the 3 QBs drafted ahead of him — Williams, Daniels, Maye. As well as 3 QBs he was compared to coming out of college — Stafford, Herbert, Tua. (And Matt Ryan for funsies) ⤵️

Now 3yo Nevada aka Young Pele is about to be a bigger star thanks to a league official in Winter Park, FL calling the cops.
He’s about to be on TV everywhere, and a possible guest of MLS, Premiere League & other Major League Sports.
Heck, have the parents reach out to me, I can get free soccer lessons arranged.

Cornell University said no to Flock cameras.
Terminated the contract October 14.
Ordered all seven cameras removed from campus.
As expeditiously as possible.
Which is corporate speak for immediately but we're being polite about it.
The cameras arrived October 2024.
Got installed. Started tracking every car on campus.
Every license plate. Every arrival. Every departure.
Then students asked: why.
Why are we building a surveillance network.
Why are we tracking each other.
Why is Flock profiting off student movement data.
Cornell said: good question.
Student Assembly advanced a resolution.
Said remove them.
Cornell's response: already planning to.
Contract was expiring anyway.
Now five other Tompkins County entities have quit Flock too.
Ithaca City. Cortland. Madison County Sheriff. All dumped it.
All said the same thing.
Privacy concerns. Misuse by police. Data security.
And the cost. Eight cameras. Twenty-four thousand a year.
For what. To track license plates.
Meanwhile cops in Georgia got arrested for using Flock to stalk ex-girlfriends.
So communities started saying no thanks.
The irony is Flock fought some of them.
Elgin Community College covered six cameras with trash bags.
Flock sent workers to uncover them.
They covered them again.
This went on until the contract expired.
Now it's just cameras sitting on poles.
Not tracking anything.
Not sending data anywhere.
Just monuments to surveillance nobody wanted.
Cornell joins the exodus.
One campus at a time.
One municipality at a time.
Flock's business model collapsing under the weight of being caught.

While everyone speculates what this means in terms of if “something” is coming, we should probably also be asking why this wasn’t done decades ago. Our military hasn’t been prepared for a “shit hit the fan” scenario?
This is why I’m a “prepper”, and you should be too.

Michael Penix Jr walked down one of the best defenses in the league today with over 200 yards and 3 TDs and it’s like no one cares.

T. J. Houshmandzadeh on Michael Penix Jr. being on bust watch if the Falcons keep losing
“Who calling the plays? Who’s coaching? Michael Penix is nowhere near on bust alert… he needs to get a coach that has answers for teams that pressure”

Getty Images filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy Wednesday.
Decades of stock photography.
Millions of photographers.
Billions in licensing fees.
All crushed by people typing prompts into Midjourney.
Getty's problem was simple.
They charged $300 for a photo.
AI charges zero.
Getty's photographers took real pictures. Real locations. Real moments.
AI generates fake ones in three seconds.
Turns out people prefer free and instant over expensive and boring.
Getty tried to merge with Shutterstock to save itself.
The UK blocked it.
Then Getty tried to sue AI companies for training on their photos.
Lost that case.
Then Getty tried to wait it out.
Debt kept piling up.
Photographers left.
Customers left.
Now Getty is going dark.
Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Prepackaged restructuring. $533 million bailout from the Getty family.
Emerging as a private company by year-end.
Which is corporate speak for we're taking it private so we never have to report numbers again.
The visual content market decided it doesn't need 75 years of professional photography anymore.
Just needs a sentence and a GPU.
Getty spent two decades watermarking everything.
Protecting intellectual property.
Making sure people paid for access.
Then AI made access free and watermarks irrelevant.
Getty Images lost to a chatbot with an art degree.
The company that owns the visual archive of human history.
Got deleted by people who can generate fake ones faster.
