A shadowy figure with a mask and crystal earrings is looming in the center of what looks like a massive dreamcatcher... or perhaps a mandala. It is up to interpretation. But what is concrete is that whatever it is, it stands at the forefront of this fantasy and will be the first thing you see...and maybe the last as well.
ALT Silver is ruminating is his study. His hands rest over a blueprint for Neo Egg City. While staring down, a mini flashback occurs. An Egg Pawn gets a lucky shot on a rabbit named Caramel. "All units! This is Blaze speaking!" Blaze's voice is merely a facade for the situation they find themselves in, yet her queenly demeanor makes it sound as if not all has gone bad yet. Then she says it. "The mission parameters have not been met! Retreat. NOW!" The calmness in her voice is swiftly discarded and replaced with an anxious tone. "Silver! Silver, do you read me? Sage's forces are converging on your position!" The voice becomes more and more desperate as the panel shows a rabbit with a bullet piercing clean through her midsection.
ALT First page: A large structure is supported by numerous mechanical towers. It resembles the face of the late Dr. Ivo Robotnik. "Citizens of Neo Egg City. Greetings." A woman's voice can be heard from all over the large structure. She continues as she clicks a button on a panel.. "As you should know, I am Sage Robotnik." Neo Sage's face is shown as she announces "Daughter of Ivo Robotnik! Creator of this utopia."
ALT "What is she waiting for?..." Blaze asks as Sage approaches a giant tube. There are two things of note on this containment pod. One is a warning "ULTIMATE LIFEFORM: DO NOT OPEN" The other... is a Black Arms logo. And with this the comic followup ends. Thanks for reading once again, these are fun to make and if I did make more, it'd probably be like one or two more short ones. I like using characters from all around Sonic media, so you might see someone very very obscure next chapter. While I will not say who, I will give a hint: There is a VERY SPECIFIC SET OF RESAONS that I chose Cream. At first, I was gonna say she lived that long but had to make an OC descendant.
