I just launched my first Mac app, Shotspa.
It does one job: makes screenshots look good by itself.
Press ⌘⇧4 like always. A second later it's beautified and ready to paste.

You already hit the screenshot shortcut. Now it just comes out looking decent instead of ugly. Tiny Mac app, zero workflow change.

A few things I cared about:
– your original file is never touched
– real 3D tilt, text stays sharp. Press D for flat when you want it
– everything runs on your Mac: nothing uploaded, no account
Are we seeing agents running prod systems themselves by 2026 or what. this year has just been not so good for all swe

In this ai era esp when we are not writing single line of code by ourselves, we must put time in code reviews (self and multiple Agentic) along with focusing on coding standards, simplicity and all. Or be prepared for sleepless nights when code becomes messy and something breaks.

helluva week and I only mentioned literally 1/2 of what I know about
this is just crazy. I feel we have a lot of upcoming breaches for which we should be prepared. Ai is crazy and scary.
I recommend everyone upgrade Ruby immediately. This is a DoS and RCE vector if you accept user input into Regexp.new() ruby-lang.org/en/news/2026/1…
Arc gone too soon
We've decided to sunset Arc on December 22, 2026.
That's not an easy sentence to write. We spent years building Arc and celebrating each and every release along the way: we have so much pride and love for what we made alongside the Arc community.
Our priority is to deliver best-in-class security for our members. Keeping a browser secure takes constant, dedicated work that is only increasing in the age of AI. Dia was built from the ground up to meet today’s security standards, so that's where our engineering and security teams will focus moving forward.
We've worked to make switching to @diabrowser as easy as possible for Arc members. Here's how:
· Your passwords, bookmarks, extensions and history come over to Dia seamlessly.
· Spaces, Folders, and Tab Groups are in Dia and import over with your data intact.
· Dia now surpasses Arc benchmarks in stability, speed, and security.
· The browser features you use in Arc are free in Dia, and the AI is optional.
Thank you for using Arc, for pushing us to make it better, and for building alongside us. The team that made Arc is the same team behind Dia, and some of our most ambitious work is just ahead. We'd love for you to be there with us when it lands.
i've been working on this mac app since 3 weeks now. optimising it, building the features that's actually needed, stands out my app. im happy that it's ready now. will be launching it soon.
it's been almost 20 days now that i've switched to Zed IDE from VS Code and im really loving it. fast, lightweight and minimal as it says.
