personally i don’t really like her solo stuff but i can genuinely see why people are rooting for her because the talent is absolutely there. i think she’s just a bit lost direction wise as a solo artist. anyways, we’ll see how this will further develop
i think it’s because fans know what she’s capable of and she has shown it before. i do think the split of chloe x halle made her search for this identity/style that resonates with her the most as a solo artist and we’re just seeing the process of that
