Update On “Milly”
(Sorry the audio is so quiet, there was a other emergency going on in the clinic & wanted to be respectful)
I rescued Milly on Tuesday & the first 24 hours were touch and go. Honestly we were not sure she was going to make it. When I picked her up from animal control, her body was shutting down & cold.
The level of emaciation was taking its toll.
As always I had to take a chance, have faith & do the best we could for her. Thankfully being in rescue over two decades, I’ve been Blessed with amazing doctors I trust & others all over the world I can call to brain storm with on treatment.
On the second day of treatment, her eyes went from checking out & lifeless, to life stirring again.
She looked at me and as I told her to fight, she blinked and tried to stand, but just couldn’t.
Today, we are turning a corner & fingers crossed the beginning of her come back story.
Donations are very much needed for her care & can be called into the clinic directly.
Donations can be made for Milly’s care to:
Blue Pearl Emergency Clinic

Or

Fitting is the meaning of her name, “Life-Living-Lively”. I pulled her from animal control on April 7th.
