We are excited to announce a new nonstop destination for OKC Will Rogers International Airport! Starting March 28, 2027, United Airlines will commence nonstop service to San Francisco (SFO)! This connects OKC to a dynamic metro, the center of our nation’s tech economy, and a gateway to international destinations. This follows recent announcements of seasonal weekend service via Southwest Airlines to San Diego, Tampa and Baltimore. OKC’s nonstops are now up to 29 destinations, a testament to our city’s continued growth and our team at the airport. As you may have seen a couple of weeks ago when we rolled out the long-term master plan for Will Rogers, we are continuing to invest and we have every intention of continuing this momentum.

Today, AP News Media Guild members across the U.S. are sending emails to Executive Editor @JuliePace and CEO Daisy Veerasingham opposing the offshoring of 40 U.S. and U.K. jobs to India. This is a violation of our contract and demand this effort be stopped.

AP is planning on laying off 30 video and photo production staffers on August 21 so the company can build a new hub in India. Let’s be clear: Offshoring is not expansion.

Oklahoma City has now acquired seven second-round picks this offseason, shed $224 million in payroll and tax and positioned themselves comfortably under the second apron via the trades of Dort, Isaiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins. Rather than simply declining Dort's $17.7 million team option to save the money, the Thunder picked it up, acquired three future assets, created a $17M trade exception and place their 2025 championship stalwart in position for a new long-term deal in Atlanta which was not viable in OKC.

BREAKING: The Oklahoma City Thunder trading All-Defensive wing Lu Dort to the Atlanta Hawks in a three-team deal that sends three second-round picks to OKC, former No. 1 pick Zaccharie Risacher to the Dallas Mavericks and Ryan Nembhard to Atlanta, sources tell ESPN.

It seems like every other year or so, some state agency or its leadership has some harebrained idea to try and do a legal one-cheek-sneak to get around the #Oklahoma Open Records Act. And they always end up making themselves look like corrupt fools. Rinse, repeat for eternity.
As expected, judge ruled confidentiality clause in agreement doesn’t override Open Records Act. That gov’t cannot contract around ORA is not new. So, will Wildlife Conser. Comm. waste more public $$ by appealing ruling? @FOIoklahoma @Oklahoma_Voice oklahomavoice.com/briefs/okl…

I was the reporter let go in Oklahoma. It was only surprising because the Thunder are in the playoffs and the Women's CWS is coming up. I have great memories of my time here and of my colleagues. Thank you all for following me. As for media, if you're looking for help, hit me up.
