I'm assuming this means you're excluding team options for players after this season - Klauss, SBJ, Kessler, and others have team options for 2026 or beyond that may or may not be picked up. Makes more sense. Thanks!

Trying to make sense of this chart and feel like I'm missing something. Don't see SBJ, Kessler, or Klauss. Is this your expectation of who stays/goes?
I follow your stuff pretty closely and would be surprised to hear you writing off Klauss or Kessler.

Can anyone actually defend his behavior? He’s the captain and he knows better. Incredibly disrespectful. And the temper tantrum the coach was throwing? GTFO with that.

Could just be me, but I’m not protecting defenders. Perhaps Kessler or Horn. But given the performance this year, doubt SD uses a pick on those guys. I’m keeping young talent with the most upside - Celio, Durkin, and probably someone like Alm who’d be a more attractive option

Sorry but Bürki’s save on Messi was also better than most of these - even Leo couldn’t believe he saved it…

Can someone explain to me why the Houston players were crowding the ref postgame? #AllForCITY

Hard pass. We don’t need guys who spend >50% of their time on the ground pretending to be hurt.

If that was the swan song for Nerwinski in STL, it was awesome. Sad to see the end of this season but tonight provided a glimpse into what we can hope for in 2025. #AllForCity
For a team that absolutely, positively HAD to win this game, there’s just not enough urgency. Offense toothless after 10’ and defense doomed from the start. And where TF is Totland? All around bummer to cap a season of ‘not good enough.’ Bring on 2025. #AllForCITY

The subjective aspects of the rule book that allow individual interpretations to be wildly inconsistent like you said. It sucks. Referees have an incredibly difficult job and adding ambiguity to the rules makes it harder on everyone.

A fair point. No ref or VAR seem to be able to agree what is or isn’t a handball penalty and it’s incredibly frustrating. Honestly, I’m ready to accept every handball being a PK regardless of arm location or whether it “makes a player bigger” just so there could be consistency.

To this I say…boo hoo. There have been a litany of egregious uncalled handball penalties all season long and City has several game changers go against them. Maybe he should focus on the fact that his team managed .8 xG all game instead of blaming the ref for not bailing them out
And for me (biased, but still), Hartel goal should have stood. Not a foul for me, esp the way the game was called overall. And that finish was insane.
That VAR stoppage was absolute BS. They took away a (maybe questionable) City goal to look at a handball like 5 min earlier and very conveniently killed the massive momentum that we’d been building. Total home crowd move. And then only 6 min of stoppage? No way. #AllForCITY
#RiseForCITY this might have been the best match since the Miami game…or maybe all season. Excellent glimpse of what’s to come in 2025 (if we miss the playoffs). This team will make noise, and I LOVE IT.

Esp compared to last weekend, this was a brilliant display. Much more calm + composed. No real late threats from LA - it never felt like the result was in jeopardy. This is this team I want to see in 2025 - we will challenge for the conference title if we play like this.
Gotta say I’m thrilled with the performance tonight. It took a late PK and an empty net goal to see us off - what a change from last year. This team is gonna be dangerous and I love it. #AllForCITY

Wow... if we actually got to see that lineup? Feels like CITY would be awfully dangerous
