This is a well put together exhibition of Christie memorabilia and great fun and well. I was fascinated to learn of some of the local connections that she had, based on documents in the archives. Not sure I contributed much to completing the jigsaw!
Learn about Agatha Christie's connections to Berkshire in our new blog: rdguk.info/UvIPe
Find out even more in our exhibition currently on. It's open until 8pm tomorrow (Thu 5) and 10.30am-1.30pm on Saturday (7th) this week.

Our People, Our Stories: Daniel Baker
I'm proud to launch a series celebrating inspiring individuals from our Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities, both locally and internationally.
Today, I'm delighted to spotlight my friend and colleague, internationally acclaimed Romani artist Daniel Baker.
Roma Aesthetics – Gypsy Visuality
A graduate of the Royal College of Art, where he undertook PhD research into Roma aesthetics, Daniel's internationally recognised work explores Romani identity, cultural representation and the power of art to challenge perceptions.
His remarkable career includes participation in documenta fifteen, Manifesta 14 and four editions of the prestigious Venice Biennale, including curating FUTUROMA in 2019.
His work is exhibited internationally, held in collections worldwide and continues to amplify Romani voices within contemporary art.
✨ I'm proud to celebrate Daniel's achievements and the extraordinary creativity, talent and contributions of our communities.
Our people. Our heritage. Our stories.

Is £22 for a baked spud NOT paying through the nose?
Replying to @jayrayner1 @ftweekend
Just about sums up UK catering in general (unless youre prepared to pay through the nose). All a paying diner wants is a hot meal made with fresh ingredients. Some establishments seem to find this simple process impossible.

This joke predates the Crusades by some margin …
Replying to @SonnyBunch
Crusades are generally centered around "recovering" birthplace of Christ and place of crucifixion from the infidels.
It couldn't have been Silicon Valley because there has never been three wise men and a virgin in the vicinity.
