Once in Vegas I lost half of my life savings in 30 minutes, still hurts thinking about it… To this day when I’m in Vegas, I won’t drive anywhere near that wedding chapel

This boy lost his father, but father’s brothers-in-arms took in a newborn kitten, named it after his father’s callsign, and brought it back from the front. The boy had been waiting for that little cat with all his heart.

A final piece of advice from Holly Butcher - written the day before she passed away from cancer at just 27: “It’s a strange thing knowing you’re going to die young. At 26, I thought I had time… To fall in love. Start a family. Grow old. But cancer doesn’t care about plans. Now, I understand how fragile life really is. Every single day is a gift, not a guarantee. I’m not writing this to scare you. I’m writing to remind you: really live. Stop stressing over little things. Be kind to your body- move it, nourish it, stop criticizing it. One day you’ll wish you had appreciated it. Go outside. Look at the sky. Feel the sun. Just be. Spend less time chasing “stuff” - more time making memories. Don’t skip moments with people you love. Laugh more. Write a note. Tell someone you love them. Complain less. Give more. Helping others brings more joy than anything you can buy. Be present. Put your phone down. Show up - really show up. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t need a perfect body, or a perfect life. Just follow what makes your heart light up. Say no to what drains you. Make changes when you need to. And please - donate blood. I wouldn’t have had that extra year without it. And that year gave me memories I’ll hold close… forever. Thank you for reading this. Live your life well. And maybe… we’ll meet again someday.” Holly 🩷 Repost & share Holly’s important advice. ❤️

The reason people miss the 90s isn’t just nostalgia. Life was slower. Quieter. Less demanding. We weren’t designed to process constant noise, updates, and stimulation all day.

I’m disgusted by the amount of hate Pam Bondi is getting at the moment. It’s nowhere near enough, and we can do better.

I like weird people. The black sheep, the odd ducks, the eccentrics, the artists, the loners. People who actually think for themselves, the kind whose morals are not swayed by groupthink. These people have the most beautiful souls.

CHARLES CHAPLIN DIED AT THE AGE OF 88, LEFT 4 STATEMENTS: 1...Nothing is eternal in this world, not even our problems. 2...I like to walk in the rain, so no one can see my tears. 3...The most wasted day in life is the day we don't laugh. 4...The six best doctors in the world... 1. Sun, 2. Rest, . 3. Exercise, 4. Diet, 5. Self-esteem 6. Friends. If you see the moon, you will see the beauty of God. If you see the sun, you will see the power of God. If you see the mirror, you will see God's best creation. So believe it. We are all tourists, God is our travel agent who has already set our itineraries, reservations and destinations. Life is just a journey! Live in the present!

Charlie Chaplin felt so strongly about fighting fascism against Germany in 1940 that he broke his silence for the first time ever to deliver this monologue
