The who point is @CFL and to a lesser extent, @sskroughriders went balls deep with an idea that making major changes to the field will make the game more appealing. Marketing makes things appealing, not changing the product.

Still waiting on how @sskroughriders will compensate season ticket holder’s change in decent seats to garbage seats.

Dave Naylor announcing that we're doing these chanfes for a net increase of one point (one more TD, two less field goals) makes this almost incomprehensible. Really? We sacrifice 100 years of unique Canadian tradition for that?

And your American fans like yours truly don’t want this either. You have a great product as is…no need to mess with the game
David Tosh retweeted
Please @CFL, reverse the decision for next season. No one wants this. Americanizing the game only makes you look like an NFL knockoff. Amateur Canadians programs don't have money to change their fields. Don't do it.

Tomorrow I go to my last Mosaic Stadium game with the unique Canadian field I cherished & loved for my 62 years. I was angered, then saddened by why and how the CFL did its "modernization" project, now I am numb. The relationship has changed & I know others feeling the same.

I definitely share your pain and emotions. This was done very badly. They still haven't told us the "why" .... The commish is a joke. Has anyone seen him lately??
