In Japan gilt seit August 2026 das neue Flaggenbeschädigungsgesetz: Wer öffentlich die 🇯🇵 beschädigt oder verunstaltet und dabei starken Unmut hervorruft, riskiert bis zu 2 Jahre Haft oder 200.000 Yen Strafe.
Als Ausländer kann eine solche Verurteilung direkt zur Abschiebung führen.

There are groups of hoodlums roaming the city and openly terrorizing people while in many places the cops are nowhere to be seen.
The violence of yesterday was shocking, but it wasn't the first time we had seen far-left activists and gangs of hoodlums opportunistically join the protests to cause mayhem and loot.
But I grew up in France and have been obsessively following French social and political events for more than 20 years and I have never seen anything like that.
If you look at the tweet he is replying to, it's another video showing a similar group kicking in the door of a residential building to break in. It's Clockwork Orange stuff at this point.
