Argonmine is live today. It's a proof-of-work chain built around Argon2id, so the mining runs on normal hardware. Open the app in a browser, press Mine, and your phone or laptop starts looking for blocks. 21 million total $ARG . argonmine.com

Early blocks are live. From block 2,925 to 4,924 the chain mints ARG for anyone who asks, at one rate written into the node software: 20 ARG for 1 uARG. At most 500 ARG a block and 1,000,000 in all. After block 4,924, ARG comes only from mining. How to take part 1. Open app.argonmine.com/early 2. No uARG yet? Press Bridge in and deposit USDC or USDT from Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum One or BNB Chain. It arrives as uARG in the same wallet. 3. Enter an amount, from 1 to 25 uARG per request, and confirm. You need no ARG for the network fee. 4. The next block that includes your request pays you 20 ARG for each uARG, out of its coinbase. The coins can be spent 100 blocks later, like any block reward. What to know - One rate for everyone. No allocation, no list, nothing set aside. - If nobody asks, nothing is minted. - A block mints at most 500 ARG, so when many requests arrive together they are included in turn. - The uARG goes to the treasury address, on chain. - Every request and every minted coin is public on the explorer. Early blocks are open, from block 2,925 to 4,924. For 2,000 blocks the chain mints ARG for anyone who asks, at one rate written into the rules: 20 ARG for 1 uARG. At most 500 ARG a block, 1,000,000 in all. After block 4,924, ARG comes only from mining.

Node runners: early blocks change the consensus rules, so they need release 1.2.0. Pool, browser and app miners do nothing. If you run your own node, upgrade now: docs.argonmine.com/node The full rules, the limits and the API: docs.argonmine.com/early-blo…

Three days in. Network hashrate 21 MH/s, twice what it was yesterday. All of it CPU, Argon2id. Difficulty 19,240 and climbing. 131,350 ARG mined, 50 per block. No premine. Every coin came out of a block. explorer.argonmine.com

Most of that hashrate is the pool: open it in the app, pick a thread count, done. Solo mining still works for anyone running a node.

Names are live. A name instead of an address: satoshi.arg. Register it in the app, send to it, see it on the explorer. Yours for a year or more. app.argonmine.com

Pool mining is live. A phone mining alone could wait months for a block. From today the app can mine in the pool: every block the pool finds is shared by everyone in it, by the work each did, and paid out from 0.1 ARG. Solo stays the default, unchanged. app.argonmine.com

How it works: the same blocks, reward to the pool address. Your miner sends a share every 15 seconds, proof of its hashes, each one checked. At 100 confirmations a block's reward, less a 1% fee, is split over the round's shares. All of it public: explorer.argonmine.com/pool

Three ways to mine ARG: a phone, a computer, or a rented server. All three do the same work, Argon2id on real block headers, and pay one wallet. A phone makes the fewest attempts per second; a server the most, around the clock. Step by step: docs.argonmine.com/ways-to-m…

To check the chain rather than take our word for it, run a node. It keeps a full copy, verifies every block, and can mine with every core you give it. One core, 1 GB of memory and 10 GB of disk is enough. Linux, macOS, Windows, or build from source. docs.argonmine.com/node
