Was certainly a challenge covering two pro clubs solo after bosses made Covid cuts, but also a pleasure thanks to so many good people.
Not sure on the Argus' plan is for sport (& coverage was already going to be cut).
They'll have some sort of presence but not from me. 👋

Today is my last day on @argussport (although I'll be doing Japan v Wales off TV tomorrow).
Thanks for those who have read my stuff on Dragons, County, Gwent rugby & other stuff from the patch.
Hopefully I’ve given you an entertaining few minutes every day.
(1/2).
Aaron Wildig suffered a season-ending injury last November and still finished on the podium of County's goal scorers.
More goal threats needed in the coming season - and hopefully a double-figure forward to go along with others chipping in.

59: 1-1. Oh dear.
Carney lets a simple back pass go under his foot, Enckelman style.
Think it might be Sanca who gets the OG.
49: 1-0 County.
Tom Davies. Garner and Alexander-Walker link up down right.
Falls to Davies who lashes it in. A proper ‘lashes’ in.
Start of the David Hughes era in Treforest.
Ponty 0 County 0 at HT.
Entire new XI coming for the second half.
Brennan, CBR, Patten, Tzanev don’t look to be involved.
County confirm that influential Shane McLoughlin has left the club.
He had been offered a one-year contract extension.

There are some big spenders in League Two and the National League.
That isn't a bad thing for County if they can get their ID and development right...

"He has great energy, and a great ability to threaten space in behind."
County make Cardiff forward Reindorf their fifth summer signing.
The loanee had been linked with the Exiles in January but ended up at Bristol Rovers.
Joins CBR and Garner up top.

Kiban Rai will play in the National League after his County departure.
Fingers crossed he can get the regular action to fulfil his potential.

A look at how County's squad is shaping up.
What else would you like? IMO at least one more in both midfield and attack plus perhaps a left-footed defender.
Approach to the loan market will be interesting.

The positive news keeps coming at County. New deal for James Clarke, who will be vital off the pitch and experienced cover on it.
Pleased with the last couple of days?

County are fined £2,000 but avoid a transfer restriction for three windows after failing to pay then Newcastle loanee Jamie Miley's wages.
Full details after an 'administrative muddle'. ⤵️
