I just don't get how Will Evans is undroppable. I'd have much rather started Irow from the left. Offering almost no creativity and, while movement off the ball is good, finishing is poor. 5.2 xG for the season show picks up good positions, but 3 goals shows wastefullness #pafc

Make that five, another watching brief from the bench last night in a 1-0 loss. Roberts played c.60m
Slightly concerned for Finn, who's now not played a minute of Torquay's last four games. One of those apparently was through injury, but two of those have been watching briefs from the bench and the other not in the squad. Last minutes played were a month ago, 26 Sept #pafc

Torquay have been cleaning house in recent weeks with about five players departing. One game left in Finn's loan spell so I expect that won't be extended. Player departures indicate to me that Ball is being backed, not sacked, in spite of results.

Since then, Finn has played twice for Argyle (JPT v Newport & PLC v Bournemouth u21), and technically a game for Torquay in the St Luke's Challenge Cup against SWPL opposition. So, is available, but not being picked even during a poor run when a couple of key attackers are unfit

Only a first year pro, so ample time career wise, and if the loan is extended then plenty of games left in the season, but I hoped to see more tbh, fingers crossed that'll come in the coming weeks and months

Can say that I'm not surprised that Amaechi as an inside forward with a wing-back overlapping is unsurprisingly going to be more effective than as a winger with a CB playing at FB behind rarely inching into the final third. More space, more runners, more options

I'm very surprised, however, that we're not doing better at set pieces (in attack and defence) given how much we've invested in a team to be dominant at them

Intrigued at what this looks like because I'd suggest the style of football we were playing was pretty basic already 😂
🟢 Tom Cleverley has gone 'back to basics' as the Pilgrims look to bounce back from successive defeats. Argyle travel to Cambridge and we'll have full commentary from 3pm on 95.7FM & DAB Countywide. #PAFC | @BBCDevon

That, is a big deal. U16s is one thing, but the cream of the crop play u15, u17, u19, u21 👏
Congratulations to Argyle keeper Tom Armytage, who has received an international call-up to represent England at the FIFA Under-15 World Cup 👏 Best of luck, Tom 💚

In two words, dogmatic and unsuccessful. Only managerial achievement was with Southampton, and that had to come through the play offs. Fourth placed finish and 9 from automatics. Failed upwards for far too long.
Plenty of managers are known for a possession-based style of football and take pride in their appearance. A plethora of them have a ginormous ego. Well, pretty much all of them. But none of the above seem to be castigated as much as the head coach of Leicester City, Russell Martin. So why is he the subject of a walking culture war? 📝 @TimSpiers 🔗 nyti.ms/4BjVmms

Third time in six years. Is there some kind of seeding or regionalisation that I don't know about which makes us more likely to draw Mangotsfield at home in the FA Youth Cup?

Can't be hard to expand Fox's role. Aside from occasionally watching the first team train and no longer attending the fan's forums, what else was Fox doing before?

Ah yes, that retro badge we used for two seasons, two miserable seasons, back in the days of yore: 2009-2011. Retro.
RETRO Badges across the EFL ⏮️🚨 Which ones are improvements on their current badge? 🤔

Clearly the 4-4-2 is working at Cat 3 u18 level, but it's being absolutely ripped apart tonight. Midfield completely non existent. Tolcher and especially Campbell really struggling to get any meaningful possession and have hardly won the ball back all night

Ofc very important to factor in this is literally men against boys for the most part. Argyle's u18s (plus two seniors and Finn) versus Bournemouth's u21s
