An @AP investigation has found that U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s staff prodded public institutions to buy her books, with documents revealing repeated examples of taxpayer-funded court staff performing tasks for the justice's book ventures. apnews.com/article/supreme-c…

Todays Mets game was handled like absolute crap from get-go. I don’t know who you blame .. MLB? Nationals? Either way, big thumbs down.
Sorry to everyone that sat through with apparently zero updates for over 4 hours. Split doubleheader tomorrow.
I'm offended that someone would put Teddy through a table, hit George with a chair, and then give George a Superman punch....ok not really.

The smartest guy on the field pulled the Ohio State QB card on us. Wow! And remind me how many NFL Hall of Fame QBs have come from Ohio State? How many Superbowl wins do Ohio State QBs have that went on to be QBs in the NFL?!?
Unconfirmed reports that Scherzer took a shower, and sanitized his hands, feet, and forehead but Cozzi still tossed him. Domingo German is still OK though.
Anyone left to pitch a game for the @Mets -- hey @StevenACohen2 I know someone who pitched in HS if you need an arm.
Keep in mind that MLB informed all 30 teams this spring that any ejection for sticky stuff would carry an "automatic" suspension.
Here's the story I wrote last month, detailing how the league planned to step up enforcement this year.

So Domingo German uses rosin, doesn't wash his hands, it's OK, umps let him go out. Max Scherzer uses rosin and the umps want him gone like he has a jar of Vaseline and sandpaper under his cap.
Max Scherzer has been ejected from today's game for using an illegal foreign substance on his glove

I couldn't access it either! I thought about doing this for a second, but then I realized I am not a caveman.

Better than Tony Gwynn, who struck out three times in a game once. And 1 is more than zero.

This is why watching tape is vital to evaluating players and their ability to transition to the NFL. No STAT can EVER tell you about a college players ability to play in the NFL and no award or championship they won means they can play in the NFL.

Agreed but the symbolism counts. I hope my team owner @StevenACohen2 prioritizes safety and protection against drunk driving deaths over dollars and keeps the end of alcohol sales inside Citi Field at the 7th. Our families and loved ones mean more than cash.
Replying to @espn
I respect the sentiment, but each inning is slightly under 20 minutes long. Considering it takes roughly an hour for the liver to metabolize a single drink, the impact of ending sales in the 6th, 7th, or 8th would not be as significant as many think.
Let’s promote self-responsibility.
I agree. Safety over business. Don't pursue the almighty dollar to the point of causing potential deaths of innocent people.
Phillies pitcher Matt Strahm said that he disagreed with extending alcohol sales beyond the traditional 7th-inning cutoff, citing the "safety of fans." es.pn/3mrV0sq
Unless I don't know my geography, @espn the @Ravens training facility is in Owings Mills, Maryland, while Owings is about an hour away in Calvert County. But then again, Bristol and Greenwich CT are the same thing, so maybe @SportsCenter is in Greenwich from here on out.
